A lot of manufactures are doing away with dip sticks. The majority of owners never check their fluids anyway. The conventional dip stick was an entry point for dirt etc to contaminate the fluid. You can use an infra-red temp gun to read the trans pan for the proper operating temp. Usually...

EVAP codes are not too bad to diagnose. We can run a live EVAP test, if it fails then you look to see if the cap has any problems. If it doesn't, then we pump smoke through the fuel vapor lines and look for leaks. The auto parts stores that run codes for people are making a killing selling...
