Looks like both of the solenoids are leaking, believe these are the VCT. Easy job, or use my extended warranty? Problem is I have to wait for it to leak some more since I just cleaned it up.
I decided to check my plugs on my 17’ with 19,151 miles…pulled plug one (pic 1), seems like some oil on threads!!! Looked at cylinder and noticed it has a lot of carbon on it ( pic 2). decided to pull number 2, not as much oil on threads (pic 3) but cylinder is just as bad with clear on (pic 4)...
What are your thoughts about switching the orange coolant out for the new recommended yellow coolant. Couple schools of thought, orange works until “needs” changed and other is orange doesn’t provide corrosion protection like yellow so switch out asap. Those with 17-18’s what are you going to do?
Looking for others experience...my 17’ has had persistent U DTCs in the FCIM, after long research seems data overloads the FCIM and the U codes are thrown out. There are no physical issues everything works related to FCIM. Apparently there are updates for the strategy’s in the modules...
