    40k Mile Regular Maintenance Suggestions

Hi Everyone, I have a plain jane 2017 801A scab with 60,000 km (40,000 miles). It has had no work done on it except for factory notices (moonroof sticking, doors freezing, transmission reprogramming) and my regular oil+filter changes with Mobil 1. Oh, I also put in a K&N air filter (also...

    Battery replacement

I was looking for a battery on-line for my 2017 Gen2 SCAB, and found a foot note that said "upon battery replacement, diagnostic scan is required to initialize monitoring system". Does anybody know anything about this?

    Wait!! What!!?? Plastic Drain Plug...?

Does anybody have a link for the plastic drain plugs? My 2017 SCAB is still fine, but it would be nice to have a spare drain plug in case I foul it up next time. And yup, still an old fart doing the simple stuff. But it would be helpful to have a more efficient drain method, I hate the oil...

Forscan changes - tweak your truck

Hey Raptor Nation, I have a 2017 801A and I'm in BC Canada. Anybody in Eastern WA or Northern Idaho with a Forscan unit willing to do a few mods for a 12 pack or two? I'm looking to get the fake engine noise turned off and the daytime low beams turned off so I only run the ambers. PM me please

Help on SPST relay to connect light bar to high beams

Has anybody been running relays without the flyback diodes? I've got a handful of JD1914 relays that I want to use, but they don't have internal diodes. How important are the diodes?

What is the best way / jack to use to lift the truck for tore rotation?

Yep, I hear you. Like others on here, replaced the rubber pad with a puck, works great, just a bit higher than the lips. Loufish --> thanks for the tip, jacking on the diff will save me a minute. Put in both stands in one step.

What is the best way / jack to use to lift the truck for tore rotation?

Is it a no-no to put the jack on the rear axle and lift. I lift one side (on the axel, 4-5 inches from diff), and put a jack stand as close to the spring clamp bolts as possible, then I go over to the other side and do same. Take off the rear tires, move the jack to the front, jack under the A...
