My 2017 at 67k miles threw some codes; P300, P304 and P306 after getting on it one day.
I suspected the plugs because it had a mild surging at 1500 to 2100RPM before this happened.
Out of laziness, I asked dealer for spark plug replacement quote, $250 plus more if it was something else.
Heck...
I sported these Kumho's after the KO2's until I couldn't take the noise anymore.
But Bruno is a concrete warrior 95% time too, so bad choice.
So trying these out now: Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo 3, 60lbs ea.
Real smooth and quiet on the road but more street truck looking IMO. But it's nice...
I accidentally caused that on mine one day.
The blanket I put over my seat for the pup got caught up when I closed it and didn't notice it till later.
It looked just like that, maybe worse. Crap!!!
I was happy to find that I could reshape it back to touch the window again and no leaks.
I downloaded my " As built module data" from Ford Service Info (https://www.motorcraftservice.com/AsBuilt)
Enter your VIN then security characters and Submit.
Wait a little for the screen to update with your info.
I saved the screen shot with all the original as built settings to pdf and the...
That's what I was quoted and talked into "taking care of as soon as possible before something worse happens!".
Got her back 2 months later.
Oh well, moving on.
Thanks for the info Stevedm. I felt the same about the cost of lights. So like a lot of the things on my wish list, that's all it was.
haha, me too! Figured I better hurry before the stock gets cleared out.
Received mine the next day and way before I received the automotive connectors I also...
Prius:
Slow to go: Oh no! the battery level is dropping, don't let the engine start and use gas!
Long to stop: Ahhh! battery level coming back up
Thinking of running for California Governor and make it law that Prius' have to drive on the shoulder with flashers ON.
I had my plans to camp the Grand Canyon North Rim in May but one those "freak storms" changed that real quick.
Found an awesome spot over looking the canyon outside of the park since Point Sublime had not open yet.
But then 30 minutes later...
Had to pack it up and leave.
The weather may...
Aww shit, this is why I can't stop coming here. Laughing at each other and yourself can be very healing in the right doses. :iranmaybe:
My bride of 33 years is the best part of me and if I were to post something like this and show her the responses, she would slap my arm and bust up laughing...
2017 screw picked up 6/2017.
Only issue: having a sunroof bracket replaced after I found a piece of plastic in the track causing bounce back when closing.
Almost 36k miles of daily driving and lots of road trips to off road when I can.
More adrenaline rushes and smiles per mile than MPG's.
Got her some new combat boots: Kumho Road Venture.
The KO2's were down to 4/32" at 30k miles.
Road noise: pretty quiet with slight hum for now. Read that they get louder when under 30% left, makes sense.
Street handling: Felt a little squirrelly during a turn over some street bumps so have to...
I traced the tailgate harness at the bottom center that feeds through to the underside of the bed and sure enough, it goes to a connector that's easily accessible. Makes sense all one would have to do is energize the solenoid to pop the gate open.
I'll be installing the McGard tailgate lock but...
What cain said.
A 15 Amp fuse supplying 15 Amps will typically blow (melt) in 4hrs. Your 14 Amp circuit is slowly melting the fuse each time power is run through it and decreasing the rating until the next time the lights come on again.
Best to use an auto relay to supply power to heavy loads.
Hi ya'll,
Been lurking around here for almost 2 years now and want to thank the regulars for all the entertainment and useful information.
I ordered my 2017 Ruby Red in 2/17 and flew over to pick it up on 6/17 at Helfman Ford in Houston TX at MSRP. Made an awesome road trip visiting family on...
