The way out is like the prerun, so that you can let er loose on the return. That’s the way I’ve looked at it. I agree, the views can be diff between out and back.

An acquaintance who works for Bill Fick Ford told me a month ago that they had 15 people on the R waiting list and expect to get an allotment of 1 or 2.

If they’re going to do a full test video, why not head to Moab or somewhere similar? Seemed like two soy boys doing off-road. And how can you do a test like this without getting both airborne…geez. But to be fair, their audience is really car guys who may want a truck.

I’m imagining a Jeff Foxworthy meme with a floor jack resting on a stack of 2x12’s. If the truck’s too high, raise the floor.

Likely stupid question here, but is a floor jack with max 24” lift height enough to expand the springs? What are the recommended jack points for Operation Stop the Squeak?

I have the same tapping noise at warm idle. Also have the cam phasers issue at cold start. Heading in for service and an expensive rental car bill soon. Warm idle noise attached

Anyone else experienced noise like this? Warm idle. I do have the cam phaser issue at cold start. Not sure if they’re related. 2018, March build. The video makes it sound louder than it is, but it’s still annoying.

Btw, I think I ordered a non-Ford brand of sunroof lube that you had recommended months ago. Can’t recall the brand at the moment. Hoping that is still a good option.
