Don't watch the Obsessed Garage guy on YouTube. That is unless you want to get sucked into sending him a bunch of money for shit you never knew you needed.
I gave the adaptive cruise a week before I'd had enough and disabled it. I found it to be extremely annoying. The rain sensing wipers are nice. The auto dimming headlights seem a little unrefined. If you're driving down a dark country road and come up on a guardlight in a driveway they will...
The people doing the work definitely have an impact. My local line-x dealer is great. I wouldn't let the local 4 wheel parts shop touch anything I own.
I don't get it either. Any change to the factory tuning will void power train warranty unless you have a badass dealer. I've been through this with diesels. Sure there's people who say they have to prove it but are you ready to fight that fight? If you can't afford to fix it then stay stock.
The factory also sprays right over the bed bolts which is retarded. Line X took the time to remove all hardware and prepare the surface when they sprayed mine. Worth a little more money to me.
Not a fan of how it blocks airflow.

That's under consideration but I'd rather not give the cops a reason to stop me.
While I'm waiting for my plates to show up I've been looking for an alternate location to mount the front plate. Curious what others have come up with.
Toyo makes great tires and they last. I'm undecided on swapping out the bfg's on my new truck for R/T's right now or waiting until they piss me off to do it. Been dropping way too much coin lately.
The lady at Line-x asked me if I wanted their giant raptor logo stenciled on the front of the bed. I politely declined. I know it's a raptor and don't need to remind myself every time I open the tailgate.
I agree. However after two years of this generation being sold I would think the demand would slow down a bit. Might be some real deals on 19's next year about this time.
I'm having the premium line-x sprayed on mine today. $627 out the door with tax but I'm hoping the uv protection is worth the added cost. The standard line-x was $100 cheaper. Only time will tell. My Duramax had a factory liner and it was plenty durable but faded quickly.
Deals are out there on 18's but they move quick if it's advertised. On the other hand the truck I just bought was built two weeks ago and hit the lot yesterday. They had it marked up exactly $15k over sticker but I drove off in it at sticker price. I don't really feel like I got a deal but...
Well I couldn't wait for the 19 and pulled the trigger on a white supercrew 802 that just showed up on the lot yesterday. Truck was built on 7/24. Drove it home 40 miles in a blinding rain storm without a glitch. Mandatory Starbucks pics coming tomorrow morning.
The hard loaded trucks are everywhere and they're all supercrews. I'd prefer the 802a supercab in white with only added options of black wheels, tailgate step and spray in bedliner. However that seems to be a unicorn truck in my neck of the woods.
