Yeah sure. That sounds like you know what you are talking about.
I personally warped rotors on a different brand new vehicle within first month of use. And that is why the other guy’s problematic story resonated with me.

What is the warranty on the Alcon kit. I was very interested in acquiring a set , but after reading some reviews above - not so sure now.
Somebody had a warped Alcon rotor after only 4200 miles. And Alcon failed to address the issue it seems.
I see that R1 dealers jumped on the opportunity to...
Good idea. Pls keep us posted . Re suggested parts to be used and costs (parts , Labour etc)
I personally not really keen on spending $1350 on new (even though great and improved) rear leaf springs if there’s a $200-300 option which I’m sure will suffice for my purposes.
And additional bump...
Well, something definitely to consider then. What size should I go with in Icons to match exact height with Geisers installed at the front?
Will I also need bump stops?

Perfect pictures! Thanks. Exactly what I needed to see.
I’m sure I’ll be fine with +1 37”s and a bit of trimming.
Appreciate it

My concern is not the lift , but rather difference in wheel offset +1 vs +34(OEM)
That’s why I’d like to see how much space is left in the wheel well with 37” installed

Looks beautiful! Good job.
So those tires fit only using Geiser springs?
Was there any trimming involved?
Was there any rubbing at all? Even at full lock.
I’m considering going 37x12.5r18 and was wondering how would wheels with +1 offset fit??
OEM wheel offset is +34.
Is there that “extra”...
Is it an option to just add-a-leaf and not go down the road of replacing complete rear spring set?
Cost effective for sure.
Anybody done that on Raptors Gen2?

This is a great post! Finally some real numbers for comparison.
Would you happen to have some photos of the truck with 20” wheels and Alcons?
Because that sounds like the exact setup I was going after.
But now probably do a 37/12.5R18s (+1 offset) and Alcons.
Also how much are the SS lines for...
I think this is an amazing deal! You just helped me make my mind.
Perhaps you also know how do Wilwoods compare to Alcons?? Braking distance , built quality . Anything you can share.
Thanks

Fucking right. Manufacturing processes should be reflected in the price. If R1 brakes were $1,000 a piece - no problem. But at Alcon and Wilwood (and close to Brembo) levels fvkk no.

Looks pretty.
Alcon is sure R1 concepts are made in China.
I personally came across a thread here where it was mentioned that R1 distributor in NY was very reluctant to confirm definitively that their kits aren’t Chinese made.
I’m sure the can be custom ordered in California, but easily...
I’d be interested in getting some input as well. Alcons seem great but I’d like to have a larger size rotors on my truck with 20” wheels. R1 concepts are made in China (as per Alcons website) so they are out of the question with their non Chinese made pricing. Wilwoods cant/won’t confirm proper...
