Raptor R is more limited and will have a bigger ADM so regular Raptor prices with ADM will still be a relative bargain. Same thing happened with the GT350/R. The R was selling for $100k+ and the GT350 was selling for $70k but they only had a 10k difference in MSRP.
I ordered a regular Raptor...
Welp I guess I didn’t need an alignment. Nothing was off. On the bright side I got a 1 year alignment package so I get free alignments every 4 months for a year. LOL!
Not disappointed at all better safe than sorry.
Mine has 8k miles and I’m getting the alignment done now as I’m typing this. Noticed some unusual wear on the tires so want to get ahead of it before they get noisy. Don’t know the results yet but pretty sure it needed it. I see the tech doing more than just looking. LOL!
I have no problem waiting. 5 months, build was delayed 3 times.... no big deal. My problem is the truck was sitting in the rail yard and they lost track of it. It was passed on to another carrier and they didn't realize they had the contract so it would have sat there forever with no updates...
Then again that 2019 is still in the wrapper and could be running 50PSI from the factory like the 2018 I drove. I aired it down to 38 and it rode nice.
Anybody that picked up a 2019 willing to post up some driving impressions? Curious about highway ride... this video and a couple others I've seen say on road ride is harsher with the new shocks. Opposite of what I expected. On the bright side mine finally went into production this week.
The Focus in the pic is 1 of 1 in Liquid Blue and the car pictured is THE actual car produced for the North American auto show circuit. They made a Raptor, GT, GT350 and Focus in liquid blue for the curcuit. The white trim on the Recaros confirms it as well. It was supposed to be crushed but...
Silly me read here priority 10 was the fastest and asked my dealer to change me from priority 1 to priority 10. Got 11/5 but now I know why he asked me if I was sure I wanted priority 10. LOL!
Finally a clue about the standard interior without the blue alcantara package! Saw this vid today about the 2019 Raptor's new Trail Control feature. Shows a 2019 red scab flying around in the dirt. You can tell it's a 2019... orange Fox shocks, new applique tailgate and new shark fin. Here's...
I also asked if Recaros come standard if you don't get the blue accent package... she referred me back to my dealer. LOL!
Asked about MY2019 beadlocks in ads but order guide showing MY2018 beadlocks here is her answer
"The 19' Raptor has not received the bedlock part - you can stay tuned on...
Mine is Unscheduled Clean today also. According to the Ford Performance rep at build tracking, he hasn't seen any MY2019 Raptors come through as Scheduled today.
Doesn’t sound too bad but I like credit unions. Can’t beat their rates but time is money. In the immortal words of Sweet Brown... ain’t nobody got time for dat.
So it seems Deavers is a rabbit hole of sorts. Planned on leaving ride height stock to fit in my garage but Deavers +3 in the rear minus blocks means +1 inch overall lift. With factory rake I would have to lift the front at least 1" to look normal and if I'm gonna do that I may as well lift it...
That makes sense, if your back tires get air and you turn your wheel slightly you could get enough yaw that you'd have a hairy landing.. interesting. I wonder if live valve would help with that... absorb the bump vs being too stiff and letting the back end get airborne
