It will be interesting to see if the TRX forces Ford's hand to consider bringing back a V8. I mean, I get like 11-13 MPG on very moderate driving, it's not like anyone is buying the "eco" part anymore. Nor do I even care.
I look off my stock Ko2's and went to Ridge Grapplers. If they are any louder I don't notice it. They are bit of a stiffer tire so the ride reflects that, but once agin negligible. I do like how they don't fling as many rocks as the KO'2 and I like their traction better.
I think I saw it was confirmed the Darker blue is Velocity and the Power-like blue is Performance blue. There are some posts of PB 19's lately, can't remember if it was on here or one of the Facebook groups.
My dogs haven't shown any issues. Maybe he doesn't feel comfortable with the change, new seats/smells ect. Maybe try having the truck off and getting him in it to get comfortable and see how he reacts. Don't turn the truck on or any noise. Do that a few times over some days and then see if you...
It's hard to say, but an overall rule of thumb is you will find more problems with any given vehicle on a forum/group site. It's where people go to find out more about their issues or to complain. I remember my first forum experience back with a Ram pickup I had, I was convinced I bought the...
What rick said, they are very orange, that picture is pretty accurate. I don't think you can beat Baja Design, I just had these Rigids already so it was a waste not to use them.
1: Driving only
2. Headlights only
3: Amber Fogs
Sorry my fogs are unhooked bc I'm rewiring everything. As you can see, the driving pattern is similar to headlights except they don't have the horizontal cut off. They're pretty ineffective they way mine are set up now, they need to point more to...
I'd recommend the SAE Rigid fogs since you can run them legally on the road. They make a huge difference in lighting since they fill in the space to the side and closer than the headlights. I then run 2 amber fogs which are really nice in weather. I also have D2 driving lights which don't seem...
I like it! it's similar to the Fab Fours Aero, but looks way better. Had I not just put on the Stealth Race R I'd be all over this. I love how it doesn't stick out in front of the truck, that's my complaint with the Race R.
I feel like people get too worked up over this topic. Sure, if you are tuned and have a relocated intercooler and downpipes and have an engine failure it's a big deal; you're probably on the hook for an engine.
But the things that get warrantied the most, say doors, moonroof, most electronics...
Go talk to your service manager at your dealership. Tell them you've got an itch to change things up a little and see what they would be ok with. It at least gives you an idea what you're working with. Also, if it's a financial breaking point to pay out of pocket for something that breaks on a...
Oh, I had to go back and reread your post. I thought you were putting sealant and wax over ceramic. I'm back on track now. Yeah, up until recently that's what I always did too, great results. I'm hoping ceramic will help me keep it cleaner through winter this year so I changed things up a bit.
Totally get it. Make sure to refresh the ceramic layer though. It fills in the defects that are worn away from normal washing/ect. That will make is last longer as well.
The thought has been to treat them like paint. So seal, or coat ect. They don't seem to have the clear that the painted surfaces have so I'd be cautious with any type of correction though. I've avoided that myself but look forward to others input.
