actually never installed it. the CEL never came back on and that was like 4k miles ago there are instructions online. it goes in the one rubber/plastic line coming off the intake. just not sure which one. i’ll check around and post them here if i can find the instructions

honestly, i’d say it is increased noise from the intake. how does the truck run? any stumbling or anything like that? i’m not convinced that it is in fact a boost leak

not really sure what you mean by fittings? are you talking about the hot and cold side connections? if so these connections are of course the same with any stock intercooler location replacement. just meant that anything “coming loose” wouldn't be a CVF specific issue if that makes sense

no, in my opinion you are absolutely fine... simply parked at idle you are off boost and have no needed for the charge air to be cooled for all intents and purposes

in my opinion there is a reason nobody else is selling cores’s that thick. in a little bit of research it appeared that frontal surface area is more important that core thickness, that a core thickness too large and maybe not ideally suited for the motor/turbocharges per say can cause boost...
