just get 14mm spark plug fowlers from pepboys or autozone and with 1/2 in drill bit open up the hole, buy 4 and drill them out , and double them up 2 on one side, and your golden.

i did not get far without a tune , with the tune they shut off the monitors, and it ran awesome, with the tune , so you get no light,in the rears i have sims there so, hoping if they figure out the front ,then all will be good , pass inspection, then throw the performance tune back in and return...

they are right before the clamp goes on , i mentioned that to tech at sw, and he say's that is the stock location where ford puts there's , but i said ford's run hotter because of the stock manifolds and they run much hotter, the cats are much less flow more restricion ---------- Post added...

well i contacted american racing headers ,that is 15 minutes from the house and they want to look at my setup and test 02 sensors and then they will tell me what the problem is and if there is a fix, as far as fuel i'm 87, should i burn 93, will that make up for my problem ??? or there must be a...

i blame stainless works for the problem , there design for the placement of the 02 sensor is wrong, there cats offer to much flow and nothing can get hot enough, for the sensors to turn on without throwing a light, i think kooks has the better set up with there green cats and shorter tube...

there is no way around this , going back to stock exhaust and will never do headers on a new type vehicle again, just a cat back and be done , it is too much of a pain the ass, so i will be selling my headers cheap, and the high flow set up. i'm done !!!

anybody know of a good performance shop or good dealer , to bring the truck in to fix or replace my 02 sensor harness, i'm in new york so any help would be great thx

well mike at 5 star has been trying to help me out with my problem we been trying diff tunes and now the code i get is p2254, which looking it up that there is a harness problem, so chris it sounds like you are right , will have to bring this to ford to figure out cause i can't see it , i don't...

i did see some black soot by the clamps on the connections ,and went over them , and got them tighter as they were not all that tight, if there is a leak at the manifolds would you not hear it ???? i will try to get the bolts , they look like a bitch , but will try to see if i can get something...

i just went under there , pulled the 2 connecters there that i can see , and they look good not bent and seem to be fine applied some die-electric grease, and clicked it all back up, and i don't think that there are harness extenders there, and they are not stressed, and there is plenty of slack...

hey chris, the sensor seems to reach just fine , i will go under there and look , when i installed the new sensor, i did look at the four prongs in the male end and they all looked good, all straight and not bent, the plug clicks in and seems good, if there is extended 02 harness, i don't know...

i don't think i'm gonna go that route , but thx anyway, gotta be a better fix , just may bail on the headers and return too stock and be done, it's just to much of a hassle for the extra power. will try wrapping the header, to build up extra heat in the header, see if that works, drove home...

my truck has 34,000 miles, my thing is it's not designed for e85, not so sure i wanna try that one , any one else try that ????

i am trying to get this done and am running out of options, called mike at 5 star , diff tune and no luck, still get the light , code po153, which means slow response,drivers side bank 2, i am sorry i did the headers ,what a pain in the ass, may have to put the stock manifolds back on and call...

the code i am getting off the sct is PO153, o2 [ho2's2], ckt slow response cb2s1,that is exactly how it reads on the tool. sent that over to mike at 5 star ,waiting to hear back on a possible fix, any suggestions ???? would be great thx guys

did it , got it, nice, my headlight reminder still works also. turning the key to the on position, it still does chime.
