Getting the kick ass sound of the GT350 or GT40 start with a flat plane crank as opposed to a cross. My 19 GT350 makes my 17 Raptor sounds dull..... but would never give up my Raptor...

My 17 with 30K miles, with the service engine light that goes on and off, still runs great with the light on, damn Ford still has not released the permanent fix yet.... F'n BS.... Dealer indicate that this in fact is a cam phaser issue....

That is true. I have put 4200 miles on my 19 this summer, sunny weather. Would not drive in rain, the sport cup 2 tires can be a real blast on certain roads. These tires follow all the imperfections on the road. I must say I drive my 17 Raptor more than the GT350.... Plus tire replacement run...

Not a troll here, but Klaben Ford has stated that Ford is to have a fix sometime this 4th quarter. My 17 was in the shop and I was told they could fix with the original parts or I could wait until Ford has officially release the fix.... I'm waiting....

Looked at the Bullitt but decided on the 19 GT350....

Same happened to my 17.... Took cover off and it will stay off..... Living in the country I keep a lot of poison around the truck and a mouse trap under my hood.... So far so good...

Can we add Cam phasers to the topic?... Sure my 17 went into the dealer a few weeks back because of the engine check light. Code P0022... The services manager indicated that Ford is supposed to have a fix 4th quarter this year.....

I always have run 93 in my 17. First oil change around 4500. Between 6K and 7k change oil... But since mine is at the dealer with P0022 code won't have to change for awhile.... But I guess shit happens.... 26K miles currently...so I guess I will have to drive my 19 GT350 until I get the Raptor...

Damn engine service light has come on twice. First time it went out after a few days. So I canceled the visit to the dealer. The day I was scheduled, that night it came back on. Truck still runs fine but not going to cancel the visit to the dealer again....

Even with the recent minor issue.... I never or never will regret the Raptor purchase.... Nothing is perfect, no matter how much money you spend on anything....

My 17 just had the engine light on. 25K miles. Code was timing retarded. Goes in to the dealer in a week... Even though the engine light is on the truck still runs great....

24K on my 17....never had any problems.... already replaced the rubber....
