The screws and u-nuts for the access panel on the front skid plate to reach the oil filter are 8mm x 1.25mm x 25mm of thread length. Has anyone found a easier/quicker and more durable solution?
Great looking truck. Similar to my 2019 SCAB in silver. I got the 802a package with the rear plaque delete (looks like a ***** stamp to me) and deleted the moon roof. If I did it again I would have ordered a lower level trim package. IMO most of the things on the upgraded packages are...
I thought of splicing the wires going to each air bag together to create a continuity loop and leave the restraint control module. I have not tried that yet.
I have Forscan. I used it to turn off every bing, ding, chime and the auto start/stop. I can drive down the road with the doors open if I wanted and it wouldn't make a noise at me.
Though I am not an expert at Forscan, it does not appear to be any help but maybe someone that knows it better...
When I removed the system a warning light comes on the dash and I can not figure that out. It needs to be reprogramed somehow and I do not know how to do that. I asked the dealer and they were no help (of course.)
I am installing the GJ Motorsports 3rd brake light with 3 Baja Design lights. The directions say to tie into the green/brown wire at the fuse panel on connection C2280C. The wires are tightly packed in there to do that.
The small reverse light in the tailgate finally turned off. It just took...
Are you finding this tail light wiring harness at the tail light or at the fuse box?
Also, I unplugged the three bottom plugs at the fuse box then plugged them back in (that is all I did.) Now the small reverse light in the tailgate will not turn off. Any ideas?
I am deleting the SRS (air bag system) on my 2019 Raptor before installing a roll cage. It would be nice to not have a dash warning light for the SRS system or other problems when I am finished. Besides removing the restraint control module and the air bags themselves what else needs to be done?
Agreed! BMW and Mercedes do that. I feel spoiled doing those oil changes compared to this. One side note: The BMW oil filter housing gaskets started leaking at ~125,000 miles and I replaced them. On the N54 engine if you let that leak onto the belt it can slip and be ingested into the...
After my first oil change debacle I swore to do something about it at the second oil change (the second wasn't much better.) I went with a ValvoMax quick twist oil drain because I heard over time the leaver operated ones can fail. If that happened I could say bye-bye to the engine. This one...
Do you have pictures or descriptions of where these devices are located and what they look like so the rest of us can look to see if these devices are on our trucks?
I also have a 2019 and have the original files saved. If you need get in touch with me. Did you buy it through a dealer or directly from the original owner? Either way it was not good of the original owner to do that you.
42!? I believe you but....wow....that is a lot for a measly 2 octane. Do you know the source reference for that number? I need to find a new gas station with higher octane.

I use these people on my vehicles. The film is 3M Scotchgard Pro which in my opinion is the best but I have not used all the films out there. I have used XPEL, 3M VentureShield and an older 3M film from 10 years ago that was named something else back then. When...
I had a similar problem (the screen would also freeze). After the dealer tried to "update" the sync module the ordered a new sync module and replaced it. Yesterday it may have started to do it again. If it is like the last time it will progressively get worse. I asked the parts department...
I must be an old fart because I had never heard of balance beads either. Thanks for mentioning it. After I read up on it and watched a video they sound like a good thing for tires 35" and up. My local shop does not usually deal with balance beads but said they would put them in but I will have...
Valid points and if you value the new "upgraded" things then by all means buy the 19. However, keep in mind that the Raptor (and most every other car or truck short of a Pagani) is build to a certain price point and manufacturers do not use the very best components i.e. King shocks, stereo...
Agreed. If you ever wanted to upgrade the shocks to King or something else go with a 17 or 18. The 19's with the "live valve" make it virtually impossible to switch to anything else. If you are happy with stock shocks then it does not make a difference.
