    Cracked valve cover driverside

You guys converted me. Your right, this is great customer service. Im sure the supply chain getting new valve covers for new vehicles are completely different. Thank you for suggesting I should take it up with my dealership who told me the crack is due to "cold winters" and to keep pouring...

    Cracked valve cover driverside

My assumption is that the tech who did a service bulletin on my Raptor broke it. And Ford hasnt had a fix for 3 + years and that its in indefinite backorder. "all of us"50K+ people backordered (go on and roll your eyes here).....are waiting with no replacement date while new covers are built...

    Cracked valve cover driverside

No need to overcomplicate this. HL3Z-6582-G and its various previous versions are all in "Backorder with no date in sight" 2017 - 2020 are all suffering on the 3.5L the same issues. New Fords with the same 3.5L are using a part that should be available to us, since it fits the same engine...

    Cracked valve cover driverside

Im just awaiting the postcard in the mail about the class action lawsuit of people waiting 3 years for these parts and the liters of oil I have poured into it just to keep it full. How are they able to keep making new trucks without supplying everyone the exact same engine covers for the...

How much has your Raptor settled?

Probably settled within the first 6 months. But yup its what I am seeing on my 2018. I put the collars on and the ICON's just to get back the height lost on the settle. The RPG Collars only added 3/4" for me in the front, and I am still waiting for the icons to settle a bit (originally added...

Since we haven't heard back from him, we have to assume it was a car bomb. It's the only logical answer to why he hasn't replied. @Claberge

    Need bumper guidance

I recommend two King studs, a transom and remove the drywall so you have a 3' pocket for your bumper.

    Mystery silver buttons?

If they are momentary switches they could be for an electronic tonneau (Pace Edwards), one to open one to close. If that is the case, the wires should terminate on the back wall of the bed driver side. You can also look around the bed rail to see if there were clamps for the tonneau to clue...

Value of our raptors after v8 debut

All things equal the naturally asperated V8 at the altitude of my front door would be atleast 90BHP less. No Thanks, I will keep the Turbos. Costs be damned... The only reason I wish they would finally come out with it, is to let those who want it, buy it, and stop posting threads like this...

Yeah look in the F-150 forums you will have access to a ton more people and more likely to find contractors or overlanders who have done this already. More than likely it wont give you much additional space but could give you access to some of the hardware to tie into. A few law enforcement...
