Well I’m going to give this a try, https://pac-audio.com/catalog/amppro-amplifier-interfaces/ap4-fd11. Hopefully bypassing the factory amp will help. This truck is frustrating, never before have I had diamond audio stuff sound like shit, so I know it’s not the speakers/amp
I am using the factory head unit. I have been looking at different dsp devices and keep seeing post about people using different products and still having trouble getting a clean or flat signal to the amp. I have looked into pac audio unit because it goes in before the factory amp, but my buddy...
I recently upgraded the stereo in my 2012 supercrew.
I decided on Diamond Audio again for this build where I have used their stuff on 2 previous vehicles. FJ cruiser and Subaru. Both sounded excellent. For the raptor I chose.
Diamond Audio
H65s speakers for front and rear
2 12” shallow mount...
The side lugs appear to not be as squared off, looks to me like actual tread width isn’t as wide as some other m/t’s. I’m just wondering if they might not rub as badly as say a nitto trail grappler or Toyo mt in a 37x12.5. I want to run a 37 but don’t want to get aftermarket fenders or upgrade...
I have heard of rocky mtn terrain park. When I was in maine4x4 they did a group ride with rick pewee or however you spell it from the 4 wheel mag. Unfortunately I missed it. I would love to find new spots to go , everywhere near me is posted.
I recently picked up a black 2012 super crew with 63k miles. The truck is super clean. Already had an injen cai, and borla exhaust. I’m wondering if there is a way to tell if the truck has a tune or not without bringing it to the clowns at the dealership.
Thanks
