It looks like you only read about about half but kudos, you almost read a whole paragraph, next week you can graduate to two paragraphs of reading comprehension?
@jbib99 get a 13-14, more refined, preferably a 14 with low miles. Wouldn’t worry a ton about resale value if you plan to actually off-road your truck. It would be like not having sex with the woman you’re with so that she’ll be in better condition for the next guy.. in that case, thanks!
Here’s one way to look at it. You spend $2000 on your tires. They are your number one safety feature on your truck and most important point of contact and control. One, who taught you to wash your wheels last lol. It’s good to use a good spray on tire cleaner and scrub your tires to remove a lot...
Capistrano is a good deal if you don’t want to change your oil and get the works oil change and tire rotation for $50. Otherwise I wouldn’t take my truck there if I had any major problems. I haven’t had any bad experiences there but seen some people who have and south Orange County is definitely...
Do you know the service habits of the previous owner? Driving your truck hard, you’re probably going to run into a lot of issues. Where do you live? Try to do research on any experienced shops near you who specialize in off-road and have worked on raptors
@PDT905 while you should air down for off-road you shouldn’t need to change air pressure for driving down a dirt road to go fishing. What one comment said about an update make sense since your shocks are electronically controlled yes? I’d investigate further because that simply doesn’t sound...
It sounds like your truck has a blue power band in it. I’d take it back and ask them to install the green one
When you go off road make sure you add more tire pressure not less, you’ll go faster
6.2L here, tire choice may help improve a little. w/ 35 mts 10-8 or less city if you dont drive around with one toe on the gas pedal, be happy to get 15 highway.. but lets be honest, when youre driving gen 1 6.2l who really cares about your mpg
Thanks for the reply Ben. I agree, after searching I found other videos of spark plug wire arcing and they sound identical to the noise I’m hearing. Trucks with a mechanic this morning for a tire patch and tune up and I’m having him check the wire for arcing.
Sorry if this has been asked before. Have read through as many similar posts as I could and didn't seem to find the exact same issue/solution. Thanks for any responses.
