I have no IN PERSON experience, BUT I've seen several posts with sub-par looking welds on the ADD bumpers. I'm a stickler for build quality. If I hadn't gotten rid of my truck, it would have been SVC all the way. My $.02
Plenty of threads on compressors, but thought I'd come in here too. I had the ARB twin compressor mounted under the rear passenger seat with the BajaMod bracket and it was perfect. Would totally do the exact same way again.
The factory sprays the flares with a slightly less glossy clear coat. Buffing them with a mild cutting wheel and compound will bring out the shine also for a better match to the rest of your truck. I learned this while working out some deep pinstripes. If PPF is in the budget though, that's...
I ran my JB4 with a Roush CAI. No issues. I spoke to Terry over at BMS when I first got my JB4 and he said there’s really no benefit to adding the CAI.
Add 5-7 gallons of e85 to a full tank of 91, switch to Map 5 and THEN we’re talking!
Here’s a screenshot of the Map guide from their site:
Offroad Warehouse is offering an additional 10% discount on all sale and regular priced items with code Offroad10. There’s 15% off Method Wheels with code BF15 and 20% of Icon Wheels with code BF20.
- I got a set of Maxtrax and will be grabbing some ARB gear from these guys.
SDHQ Offroad is...
This is also the best time to buy Baja Designs lights. 10% off is the norm, but I've seen dealers run sales at 20%-23% off list price in the past. PLUS you get the mail in rebates.
I've got a long shopping list this year. :)
I had the SDHQ mounts and they were awesome. I really liked that they were closer to the windshield than on the back of the hood. Well made and super solid. I believe they’re back ordered right now so just a heads up.
Each of the (3) light pairs is setup to be powered by a separate switch. I had these controlled by overhead upfitter switches 1-3, but you can set it up any way you like.
Heres how it looked on my Lightning Blue:

This is interesting... I have the same interference issue. Baja Designs lights ground wire directly to the battery and soldered power lead wire. Not a huge deal because I rarely use the AM/FM with my lights on
I looked into adding cooled seats a couple years ago before I ordered my truck. There was a thread on the F150 forums where a guy did it. It’s pretty elaborate process with a lot more parts than you would expect.
Most Raptor owners have no need for on board air. The demographic that would actually use it really is pretty slim. If you go wheeling enough to need to air down and back up this is great way to go.
You could go also with an air tank, but it all boils down to preference and needs at that point.
I have the same "upgraded" B&O system from the 802A package. I just cut off the end of the OEM connector to the factory speaker and put on some RCA connectors (LINK) to the amp I added on. Heres my setup:
