You could consider having them shaved. Guys with trucks that go with really big tires use this method all the time. They actually do it with the tires and wheels still mounted on the truck and I’ve heard great things on the results.

Looked at a YouTube video and some of the threads on the forum on got them all wired up. I may circle back and replace the connectors with something more robust and then shrink wrap the taped areas but overall it works great and I am happy with the result. A few pics I took along the way...
