I'm having the exact same problem. Had a mechanic look at it who thought it might be a break caliper rubbing and making the odd sound. It isn't something loose it is something "running" or rubbing I think and happens (or I notice it) at low speeds. Anyone else that is experiencing this would...
I live in a state that says if the vehicle comes with a front license plate mounting site there must be a plate put on the front. So I filled in those holes with fiberglass and paint matched to the bumper. The license plate there limits the air into the turbo cooling unit so I really don't...
Old fart, glad you had fun! It was a good time for me as well. The sidehill obstacle was crazy but as Gordojay and Dynozr said, hitting a rock hidden in the grass on a side hill like that would completely change the scenario!
Sorry to hear about the truck!!!
Makes me want to go home and double check all my wiring!!!!!
I have a winch wiring harness setup in that same area, but have had critters in engines before! On my old 1993 F150 they filled up one of my outside air vents with a gallon of Rye seeds!
37” —— nice
Stronger suspension—— nice
Doesn’t look as good as my 2019
But no hybrid motor to power my blender, or rip the tires off from a standstill.
Gen 4?
I have both, winch and traction boards. ColoradoBoss I do believe you think you know more than everyone else. When you are 15 miles back in a bentonite clay road with no one else coming down the road to save you, chains are the only way out.
Have run chains on all four tires on both my 2005...
this is what they look like after washing in a creek for an hour , normal thick chains. I was thinking of cables but very little clearance even for cables. There are these new ratchet strap on chains that only have a heavy nylon strap on the inside of the tire but no one makes them big enough...
I have a yakama rack that I can put up really high (away from grizzly bears) or have at level you see in my cover pic and a retrax cover, works well. Yakama has accessories that will hold roto packs and etc..
That overland rack does look cool, but not as functional.
All,
I bought four big chains for the tires and (in the mud) found they wouldn’t fit on the front tires between the control arm and tire. Thankfully they fit on the back and got me out.
I really need advice on what will work on the front tires? Who has put chains on the front? Would cables be...
Pulled a loaded full sized semi truck sunk to axle out of mud in front of my house with 52k recovery rope. Ran at it 7x Hard! Was so much damn fun! Driver wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and was going to get fired if he had another problem so he was happy.
