It's possible there's nothing wrong with them. I got my 2017, certified pre-owned, for $60,500 and it's fully load with everything except graphics and orange accent seats.
Well hopefully they do for the few people that won't buy one unless it comes with a V8. I wouldn't expect it before the Gen3s though.
If it came with a FI V8 that would be fun, but I don't see how that pricing would work out at all.
What was triggering about it? You're the one getting your hopes up for a V8 when it's incredibly unlikely. I don't give a crap if they do put a V8 in a future one as N/A up at altitude is horrible.
Just keep waiting for that V8, I'll enjoy what I have.
It would have to be at least 90hp increase and the same price to make sense for people in high elevation areas. N/A is a real dog up in the thin air, which is much less of a problem with FI.
Can you get the Leadfoot dealer to give more on your trade in?
How long are you planning to keep it? If it's a long time I'd get the one with all the options I want over the one that doesn't have them.
There is. I want to say it's 15k and they'll go down to 10k to make it feel like you got a deal. I couldn't find a single dealership in CO willing to go much below a 10k ADM.
They used the same thing for 5 years in the Gen 1 raptor. I wouldn't expect much for change in the 2020 raptor either. If they follow the Gen 1 type then it'll be the same through 2021 at the minimum. With special editions vehicles it's unlikely much will change unless there's clearly problems...
Are you saying the GT isn't a 3.5 liter ecoboost?
You're arguing against yourself here. We both know the Gen 2 engine isn't the same 3.5 as the GT and isn't the same 3.5 as the taurus. I know it's hard for some people to comprehend that just because a vehicle has the same displacement that it...
oh really? I don't have a GT motor? HOLY SHIT!!! Almost like I don't have a taurus motor either.
If NA didn't suck so much at altitude I'd have considered a Gen1, but I'm perfectly happy with a Gen2. Haters gonna hate.
It spools the turbos....which creates torque. tricky stuff.
Also, pretty wild they used a taurus motor in the GT. I better get myself a taurus and a body kit.
