I have dealers contacting me saying, we have msrp and it will go fast! this is going on for 2-3 weeks now... and trucks are still there, so I guess it will not go fast! msrp doesn’t make any sense at this point on a 2018!

same as others mentioned, I won't pay msrp for a 2018 at this point, needs to be a few $Ks below sticker (2K, 3K, 4K... realistic don't expect to find anything better than ~2K below sticker if I'm lucky), that and the fact I can drive it now today + not risking my trade in depreciating even...

fumoto torque chart says 15 ft-lb for the ones compatible with the metal pan, so 18 ft-lb seems more like it, also 30 ft-lb seems crazy high torque for that drain plug!

it seems the live valve would act differently, here’s what I think would happen, once the computer detects the bump in the front wheels it would decrease compression in the rear and make it softer to handle the bump without potently rebounding too much the rear end of the truck

funny I'm still hearing this from some dealer "limited production car", "high demand", "just like the gt350", some dealers that are quoting at msrp are calling "unprecedented deal", "never sold at this price"... this for 2018 like last week!

this coming year it might be easier to find 2019 assuming we hear early news about a potential redesign gen3 in 2020, even if only regular f150 news are released, it's going to get harder and harder to sell gen2 raptors for above and even sticker price...

that basically gets you paying msrp given the bunch of options you don't want! my next strategy will maybe be attempt to get one of the local dealers that offered me msrp to order a 2019 at msrp, I'd pay the increase but still feel like msrp at this point on a 2018 is not really a great deal!

I've had dealers valuing my trade in from 10000 to 13000. Always give me a range and saying they need to see the car to confirm the price, but then I know where this is going, to be low end of the range they gave me!

That’s what makes me a skeptical of dealing with out of state dealers! If it’s a local dealer not a problem, but don’t want travel for hours to get there just to have the dealer change their price! what was the price the dealer originaly said it would sell the truck vs msrp?
