Has the Ranger Raptor been confirmed for the US market yet?
The regular Ranger won't even start arriving in dealerships until early 2019, IF the US market gets a Raptor version it will probably be at least 1 year after that once the regular Ranger proves it will sell. So probably mid-late 2020...
Go with the newer truck, not because the miles are lower but because it's newer and you said money isn't an issue. HIDs, Sync, 3 years younger......that said 43k is pretty steep IMO.
You could get a 2013 for about the same as that 2011, I got my 2013 with 91k a week ago for 32k. So just saying...
Just following up, I got my beast!
91k on the odo for 32k, very clean truck. Had a PPI done that didn't turn up any red flags, truck was always serviced at the same dealer I bought it from. I picked it up in Austin TX last Wednesday, on my 2nd tank of 93 and already I can feel a difference...
Thanks ya'll, this community really helped me make my decision to buy a Raptor. I got a lot of good information that took away the uncertainty around buying a "specialty" truck that is 7-10k more expensive than comparable "regular" truck.
Big ups to all of FRF.
I am little disappointed that...
Been looking for 6 months, drove all the way to Austin to pick her up. It was a great drive back to the H, she is every thing I thought she'd be, No Ragrets!
Where are you seeing these trucks? Do you mean 2010's?
Because I have been tracking 2013 Raptor prices nationwide for 6 months now through Autotrader, CarGurus, and an industry used car auction site (my car broker buddy let me borrow his login), and $33k for 105k on a 2013 Raptor is about...
Sounds like you are taking a similar journey as me man.
I started out with 2013-14 F150 FX or Platinum, moved on to Tundras, all the while the Raptor kept calling my name. But I was worried about entry cost and maintenance costs.
I am now firmly in the raptor camp, looking between 29k and...
Please let me know if this is inappropriate, it may be borderline stalky, lol
But while I was looking at Raptors for sale I came across a beaut, modded blue flame SCrew in Georgia, based on the look of the truck I was thinking the former owner would probably be on FRF. So I did a search on...
This is exactly the kind of stuff I was hoping to hear.
I am not a big DIY guy, but my brother and father in law are so I'll always have willing help. Also I have no problem following instructions, if its straight forward. Anything major I'd probably pay somebody, but I'm not averse to...
Hey y'all, I've been lurking for a couple months now and read every high mileage thread twice, so decided to start one specific to me.
I'm wordy, this is gonna be long, skip to the bottom for the short version.
I am looking specifically to buy a high mileage truck 90k+, because I want all...
