You just need a key, as all the electrical ways to get the truck started are off. Its basically the truck saving the battery so when you finally get back to your truck, it has the juice in the battery to start.

Where the oil is solid, thats the oil level, not the streak. Streak is just a streak. Be sure to clean then insert, then pull, then read.

Mine had no power at the plug. But when the trailer is connected, the truck sees it and power does show up, lights blink with turn signals, and running lights are all on when truck lights are on. Check grounds, I ran ground wires from all lights to the common ground by the hitch, as trailers...

My #103 fuse is missing, and the system works perfectly. When i disconnect my trailer the f150 tells me it can no longer see a trailer, so its a smart truck. I suggest you voltage check your trailer first, make sure its working.

Same here, at a college in Florida, 30 years ago, some dude dropped sugar packets in every unlocked fuel cap, we found the white sugar bags all over the ground, and in our tanks. Sugar is not a good additive to fuel. All had to be flushed. All except the few that were locked.
