Purchased a Putco 60” blade Led taillight with power wire modification for my 18 and having issues with wiring/functions. The wiring in the vehicle differs from that on their instructions where my trailer tow module upper has 5 wires and not four and colors are different on both top and bottom...

All my vehicles get driven fairly hard and if one day the fender gets badly stroked by an overly large tire then, Hey Ho, I’ll just by a new truck and start again.

No issues whatsoever with clearance or rubbing on the Gen 2 with the 12.50 BFG’s – different story on the Gen 1 with some cutting and bending back of pinch seam to accommodate the Method Bead locks and 13.50 Toyos.
Just finished some work on the new 18 which included:
Gen 2 King Shock OEM replacement Raptor 3.0 IBP Front and 3.0 triple bypass rears
+2” Deavers
OEM Beadlocks with BFG 37/12.50/17 A/T KO2
BakFlip G2
Bedrug
Bullet proof diesel 3rd brake light mount/antenna
Tinted OEM 3rd brake light...
Many thanks for taking the time to detail your work especially re the two trims around the headlamps.
I have just finished installing a Rough Country light bar and working off your " instructions" took the guess work and associated risks out of this.
Much appreciated
Am about to order a set of Kings for each corner for the recent addition and plan to run a set of 37 BFG's on the stock headlock rims with deavers on rear
Can anyone recommend a good brand of UCA ( I had cognitio's on a GM and they were well engineered but don't seem to be available for the Gen...
I understand they come preloaded to give level height - is this around 2 ½” effective level at front and price to ship to Blaine Washington ZIP 98230
Appreciate
Wondered if anyone is running Toyo R/T 37/12.50/17 or 37/13.50/17 on the stock rims on their Gen 2 and how they compare to the BF's. Have heard they are much quieter on pavement.
My 18 should be arriving next week and I would like to pick some brains. On my Gen 1 Raptor with some trimming of sheet metal and King shocks set to give 2.5” on front, I am running 37 x 13.50 x 17 Toyo Open Country All terrain (no longer available in that size) on Method bead locks.
I recently...
Yes I know, but I believe that the thickness of the beadlock ring/ rebate for fitting into the rim would result in a gap between the ring and the tire wall once fitted
Question – Can you remove the beauty rings on the 2017/18 OEM capable bead lock rims and simply place the OEM bead lock rings in its place i.e. with tire still between rim lips – or is the bead lock ring substantially thicker than the beauty ring and would then leave a gap between the ring and...
Currently have a 2011 Gen 1 and am getting a Gen 2 for Christmas to keep it company
Intend to run at least 37” Toyos with perhaps King suspension as on my Gen 1 and wondered if anyone has fitted the Deberti fenders from FiberwerX and what your set up is.
Appreciate
