Had some time yesterday since we got dumped on. It’s definitely a bent axle shaft, checked square on the housing and it looks true. Going to order a shaft, bearing and oil seal, replace fluid and install a new diff cover. I’ll be back out thrashing it in a week. Gonna need @1roadking wheels...

Already replaced one plastic oil pan, dealer replaced with another plastic pan. I purchased a metal oil pan for the next time I get a leak in the replacement plastic pan.

Ford SSM 48168 says that a TSB is expected to be published 4th quarter of 2019. My issue is not that bad yet and I only have 40k miles on my 2018. I am wondering if there will be new part numbers for this TSB and I should wait for that update. Just want to get the right fix once.
