I'm running into the same issue with a bit of detination in the recently higher temps reaching up into the mid 90's. So you're saying to add a few gallons of e85 to top off a tank of 91 clear and it will run better without having to modify the tune?

The driving reason Dodge became Ram is because FCA was slowly going broke and the one division that was making money was their trucks. They split Ram off to protect it from bankruptcy if it came to that. Smart move on their part if you ask me.

I have never been in a Chrysler vehicle that had a superior interior to a Ford. Like the styling of the Raptor interior or not, at least it won't rattle you out of the truck inside of 10k miles

As I stated in a previous post, I am of the opinion it was manufactured that way. My experience is that Ford built them this way for some reason (or at least allowed a bad batch of them to be installed this way) because I have personally seen several that tilt down just like the OP's hitch. I...
Couldn't help but antagonize you. Read your previous posts in this thread and figured you would immediately go into attack mode again. Your posts come off as you being a very angry person who can't accept anyone else's point of view if it's different than yours.
If you have pulled thousands...
No offense to the OP but I don't know that his hitch is actually bent. All F150's have the same negative pitch for some reason. I noticed it on my 2018 before I even hooked the trailer up the first time. I went to my local dealer after hours and checked several non-Raptor F150's and they all...
Hate to tell you but the 3-5° downward pitch is considered normal according to some users here. I have never seen a hitch with that much negative angle from any manufacturer including the last 4 F150's I owned but supposedly that is within manufacturing tolerances. All I know is I put a...
Got mine installed last night and then it snowed 3" today so I haven't really had a chance to test it out. Just put it on the 91 ots for now since the roads are crappy but can definitely feel smoother power delivery and the pedal input adjustment is also noticable.

Perfect! Thanks again for your great service. It looks like the package actually arrived yesterday already and they tried to deliver again today so I will have to go pick it up. That was fast shipping!

Unfortunately my better half got called out of town for work yesterday so she wasn't around this morning when they tried to deliver it. Gonna have to try to get to the post office tomorrow to get it. Can't wait!
Quick question too, is the 87 Octane custom tune just for 87 clear or is it set...
Sometimes it is best to just disagree, however I am not just "stating opinion". I currently am in the business of representing, selling and setting up hitches for RV towing. The company I work for sells and installs approximately 700 hitches/year. I have spoken to not only the install crew...
The issue is it does cause concern for the use it is designed for and that is towing or as the OP stated with a hitch rack for his dirt bike. Specs don't mean shit if it doesn't work the way it should. If you put a dirt bike rack on the rear and it almost drags on the ground then I would say...
I can say with confidence it is the design. I sold Ford trucks for almost 20 years and this is my 6th F150 and non of my other trucks had this issue. It's not just the Raptor either, all new F150's have this crappy hitch. Talked to my dealer and they measure a half dozen other F150's and they...
They were supposed to mount them the other side out. I like the more aggressive sidewall personally but don't want to risk scratching the wheels to have them switched.

Totally understand lots of wind noise. What I am getting at is on my previous F150 I could turn the volume to about 6 with the windows up, turn the scv to the max level of 7 and drop all 4 windows plus open the rear slider and the radio would adjust for a 60 mph highway run with virtually no...
If I open the moonroof and set the scv to high it should elevate the volume enough as I accelerate to drown out the wind noise. The wind does the opposite and the radio sound is inaudible over the wind noise. It doesn't work
