2020 Raptor with 4800 miles is still leaking water inside

I had the same problem on my 2020. It ended up being a clogged drain. All carpet in my vehicle was replaced under warranty. If you want my documentation shoot me a DM and I'll send it your way.

    I'm over this truck

A place to put my rifles, I totally get. But pooping in your truck? You're gross, dude.

Matching painted front end and flares?

I believe the 802M(allcrawler) package provided painted trim with 22" wheels.

    Best bike rack

100% backing the 1up hitch rack. American made through and through with superlative build quality, just like your truck. Plus, not having to lug an E-Bike in and out of your bed will be ideal.

    Overland setup

This is / was my very non-commital setup. I really dig some of the beefier racks in this thread, but I needed something that would carry my RTT, but also break down somewhat quickly and easily so I could throw my moto in the back. I've driven pretty damn hard with this setup with absolutely no...

    GEN 2 Bicycle in cabin?

I travel often between the Bay Area and San Diego and almost always have at least two bikes with me: a road or gravel bike, and an enduro MTB. First, invest in some wheel bags if you haven't already — the padded ones are best, and make sure you buy the appropriate size for the wheel you have...

Boatec Fenders + Eibach Springs + 37" Tires = Popped Headlight

Curious what offset you're running. I've run two Gen 2's very hard offroad with 37's for nearly 100k miles with no issue at all. The first truck was even running KR3's, which are notoriously wide.

    Carbon Fiber Exhaust tips

I'm gonna make a supposition here and say that people after CF tips for their Raptor not only don't care about departure clearance, but don't know what it means either.

37" Yokohama won't fit in spare

I like this method because it gives you a great excuse to mount a compressor — deflate, wrap with a tire tie-down, enjoy.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Used it to have a socially distanced meal off the I-5 while traveling between San Francisco and San Diego.

TRADE 018 FOR 020? OR HOLD OUT FOR GEN3?

It was back in January. Things are very, very different now.

TRADE 018 FOR 020? OR HOLD OUT FOR GEN3?

I traded my '18 for an equally equipped '20. Couple factors that made it worthwhile for me: 1. I was able to sell my '18 for $63,000 in 1 day after listing it locally on craigslist. It had 40,000 not-so-easy miles, driven properly in the desert durning it's relatively short tenure. It had a few...

GEN 2 Is it me or are prices crazy

I feel like these threads are being created ad nauseam these days. As I responded in another post, if you're going to buy, buy sooner than later. With no '21 model and a massive decrease in production, prices are already creeping up again. I just called around the entire state at the behest of a...

Great deals coming down the pike after the Apocalypse???

It's a used vehicle at that point and you get the exception. I know, it's ridiculous.

Great deals coming down the pike after the Apocalypse???

That still seems like it's up for debate. I looked into it heavily when purchasing my '18 and again when I purchased my '20. I went as far as to move one of my LLC's to Montana because the ambiguity of registering the truck here in California was so great; combined with the stories of people NOT...

Great deals coming down the pike after the Apocalypse???

I'm also speaking from the perspective of a Californian. Our local dealer still won't take anything less than $10k over sticker.

Great deals coming down the pike after the Apocalypse???

FWIW, also seeing prices going back up. Back in November I was able to buy a '20 at a great deal. A few buddies have asked about getting something similar to no avail.

Bicycle rack for Carbon Wheels and other bicycle mounting options?

In all my years transporting bikes like this we've only had one melted rim, which was an ENVE on a DH fork that sat very low with in a bed stacked with bikes. Just be careful that the wheel isn't directly in front of the exhaust and you've got little to worry about. We also often use a 4-bike...

How fast are you driving these days?

Slower. I haven't been on a freeway in over a month, and where I live there are so many people walking and riding bikes around that it makes sense to drive a few under the limit, and consequently creates a far more inviting, safe environment for my family and I. That said, the Raptor is mostly...

Those that have traded in 18's Lately

Didn't trade, but sold in 24 hours for $62k all said and done. Truck had 40k, pretty much as loaded as it gets with some nice simple mods.

Don't tell the Gen. 1 guys I'm over here.....

Coming from an early '18 build to a '20 in the last couple of weeks, I'd personally just go for a '20 or leftover '19. The improvements aren't huge between the two, but enough to make me stoked I purchased the slightly updated 2020 version. It's a holiday weekend... I'd pick up the phone and...

    Jeep Gladiator Mojave

... Am I missing something? I never had as much as a hiccup on my '18 nearing 50k miles, a good portion of them hard off-road, and my '20 is better still. Every manufacturer is going to have its issues, sure, but the prognostication of build quality for any car seems a prudent conversation...
