Go Roush - you will have an all-around better ownership experience with no worries. If you are concerned about resale, I saw an SC Roush sell last year (with accident history) at the same depreciation level seen in the 17/18 used raptor market.

Does anyone have a part number or pictures of this new pan? For those getting theirs fixed right now, sounds like they are all getting another plastic pan.

FYI - the part number for the drain plug is KX6Z-6730-B.

Does anyone k now if Ford has a new engine oil pan part number, or a new gasket part number? Is this parts related, or is this a manufacturing issue?

For the startup rattle, this is actually your cam phasers (lack of oil to them) beginning to fail. When they fail, the timing chain then stretches. Hopefully they did the cam phasers AND addressed why they were not getting oiled to begin with.

Will you be there when they reinstall? Ask for another "install kit" since you will need new gasket material. Plus, you can help to make sure all corners and edges are spaced away appropriately.

Yeah, not a good deal for used. Now, if they threw in an extended warranty that got you bumper to bumper for 100k miles, that would be a win.
