I learn something new everyday. Thanks for explaining why the brakes were design that way. Majority of the time I use the Raptor to haul my kids around town so I'm not a big fan of the squishy feel.
I rather be safe than sorry so I PFF all my vehicles. Price of PFF really depends on wither you have installers that will custom cut the film and pull apart your truck to tuck in the film. The price can go up to 8-9k for custom. A roll of film is maybe $1700 but it's the labor that will kill you.
The stock breaks for me felt squishy but I may be a bit bias as my other vehicles have very good breaks. Heavier aftermarket wheels and KM3s didn't help either.
For me it was:
1. Tint
2. Paint correction & full PFF
3. Alcon BBK
It really depends on what you are planning on doing with your truck. Maybe PFF just the front of the truck for now?
I was one of the first to get the unit. The seal has been updated from the first design from what I was told. I have email the company three times in the last twelve months with no response. Great unit terrible customer service. Having the ability to order the seal would be great.
Another happy customer!!! Service is really what will set you apart in today's competitive market place. Everyone has a smart phone and can do a price check but not every vendor will be there when something goes wrong.
Another happy customer here! He is very responsive to answering any question I had regarding my setup. Noticeable difference between COBB Stage 2 and his tune.
