    A (weird) 2022 vs 2023 vs 2024 thread

I looked at 2 different 23s and decided on a 22 specifically because of the torsen front differential and heated steering wheel. I know the heated steering wheel can be added and the torsen isn’t a deal breaker to many, but I wanted as many options as I could get for the price of these trucks!

    CVFab Titan 2 installed

Great write up! This really came in handy while I decided to tackle this job this past Sunday. Only took about 2 hours and everything went back in pretty easily. The truck seems to run better along with idling. Haven’t decided on tuning it yet..

    Rappy Graphics Topography B Pillars

Did you buy these? I’m looking at doing the same since mine have swirl marks on them. I think they would look good to match the rest of the 37pp graphics.

Who is waiting for a 2024 Raptor?

At least 54. I know the market has crashed, but dang! A dealer in PA has offered me 54 trade and they have a 22

Who is waiting for a 2024 Raptor?

Lol, not going that route now. Have a deal working on a 22!

Who is waiting for a 2024 Raptor?

Update: Dealer offered me 52k for my 2019 with 38000 miles, 802A, carbon fiber, twin panel moon roof with Recaros. I politely declined. The 2023 didn’t have Recaros or other options I wanted, so I’m not upset. Believe I’ll look for a 21-22 and save some money.

Who is waiting for a 2024 Raptor?

I agree that the 24s looks horrible. I would prefer a 21 or 22 because of the added options. Is it crazy to buy new because of Raptor Assault? Something I’ve wanted to do for awhile now.. Just crazy Ford is charging more for less.

Who is waiting for a 2024 Raptor?

Honestly, the 2021 37 because of the standard Recaros, torsen and heated wheel. The only reasons I’m considering new is because; 1. Local and at MSRP 2. Raptor Assault 3. I would know the history of the truck I agree, it’ll sell quickly and they just received it on Friday. True, I could add...

Who is waiting for a 2024 Raptor?

Nice! How do you like the 23? Just aggravating that the 21 models has many options the 23 doesn’t. I could always add the heated wheel if I purchased it.

Who is waiting for a 2024 Raptor?

There is a 23 Code Orange 37pp for MSRP at my local Ford dealer. I’m wondering if I should pull the trigger on it, or wait to see the specs on the 24 model? Im not thrilled about the deleted heated steering wheel and front torsen!

    Don't hate me for asking

Nice! I can live with that. I was afraid it would feel sluggish in comparison.

    Don't hate me for asking

Hmm, that’s good to hear. I really like the looks of the 37 pkg.

    Don't hate me for asking

Yeah, I was afraid of that. Ford really should’ve put lower gears on the 37 pkg to make up the difference in tire size.

    Don't hate me for asking

How did the Gen 3 37 pkg compare to your Gen 2 with a Goosetune? I still have my 19 that is stage 2 Goosetuned, but deciding on a 37 pkg if I can’t get the R within reason. Just seems more feasible getting the 37 pkg..

    Don't hate me for asking

Yeah, I prefer the Raptor over the TRX. I haven’t driven a Gen 3 yet, so I can’t compare it to the TRX or Gen 2. Before the R was released, the perfect truck for me would’ve been the Gen 2 (I like the grill better) with Recaro seats, Gen 3 suspension, Hellcat motor with the TRX technology...

    Don't hate me for asking

Yep! I’ll wait it out and see what the market does. The only reason I bought the TRX was because of the Hellcat and the market was plentiful at the time. So much for dealers appreciating their loyal customers!

Lol, another reason for selling! Even I had a hard time identifying the two!

    Don't hate me for asking

I had both, a 21 TRX and a 19 Gen two Raptor. We took the TRX to Satera Tuning in hampshire, IL. for a pulley, tune, trans tune, ID 1050 injectors, thermostat and catch can. The truck made 739 wheel horsepower! (removed the front driveshaft for dyno) It was a blast to drive and was quick...

    Tune transferable?

Yeah, I emailed goose and that’s what he said. Think I’ll get the E85 this time. Thanks for the help!

    Tune transferable?

Is the Cobb access port with Goosetunes locked to a vin? I sold my 2018 Raptor last year, but kept the access port and returned the vehicle back to stock “unmarried” just in case I purchase another Gen 2. Was wondering if I could just flash the previous tune to another truck? Thanks!

GooseTuned Gen 3 - Baseline Dyno Runs vs Gen 2 Baseline!

Gotcha! Hopefully, something will be resolved for the Cobb when we finally find a Raptor that’s available and without crazy markups. Thanks!

GooseTuned Gen 3 - Baseline Dyno Runs vs Gen 2 Baseline!

I kept the Cobb from the Gen 2 I sold a couple months ago because I knew I would be getting a Gen 3. Will that Cobb work with the Gen 3 once the tunes are available, or does it need updates to work?

2021 F150 "work truck" faster than a Raptor.

I believe Ford has something up their sleeve for the gen 3. Probably the reason they haven't released numbers yet..

GEN 2 COBB Accessport - Tuned by GooseTuned

Nice gains for a simple tune swap! I’m looking at doing his full E85 tune/hpfp this week. I currently have the 93 stage 2 and looking forward to the performance gains!
