    RPG Traction Bars Installation Instructions

I know the fixed length traction bars can cause some bind, when paired with a drop shackle, towards the end of the droop, but there are more than just that one variable at play for sure. Also for what it is worth, when it is sitting on the lift, I have over 18” of total travel in the rear. but...

    RPG Traction Bars Installation Instructions

What is your total travel with your setup? Drop shackles or standard length? As in when the truck is at full droop measure from bump stop strike plate to bump stop “end” and then add 2.5”.

Gen 2 build, late to the party.

Gotcha, I struggle with the room. 5’-6” bed don’t leave a lot of room. I run dual spares laid down and a cooler. Takes up a ton of room

Gen 2 build, late to the party.

I’m game! I had an odyssey that failed after about 3 years on one of our trail runs last year. Currently running a motorcraft again. If that thing tolerates high vibration I might be interested. If you move your batteries to the rear, are you going in the bed or along the frame under the cab?

Any first hand or close second hand experience with this battery?

    Brake system upgrades?

I plus that price for that kit is pretty appetizing when compared to other offerings out there.

What did u do to your raptor today?

    Depends on the execution.

Gen 2 build, late to the party.

Not sure that is the case. My comment was more so about how the gen 1’s have such a weird cross section we’re the bump stops are that you can’t C notch it very well. The gen 2’s look so much cleaner.

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

I have read that it plays reasonably “nice” as well. I think palm beach dyno has been working on it as well as some others. Seems that the harder part of that is telling it to read one cam sensor opposed to two. I believe a few sensors are direct swaps. Only thing I’m not pumped about is...

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

To put this thread into a bit of context, the 7.3 swap makes sense for us 6.2 folks. It appears to be a pretty easy swap, as far as swaps go. Not that I want an ecoboost in my raptor, but it would be a much more difficult swap. And full disclosure I have had a gen 1 ecoboost in an fx4, can’t...

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

An alternative to the megazilla would be texas speed’s crate 7.3. Still runs stock bottom end, fine for me as I am good with staying NA anyways. Comes in at $15,000 , which is about as much as a 7.3 from for with stage 1 heads, cam, phaser lockout, etc.

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

Meaning the sequence of crank for 10 seconds, wait an amount of time, crank for 10 seconds, etc?

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

So say someone does buy a crate 7.3. How do you prime to oil for the first fire up? I saw on one video that on for another ford engine, maybe coyote, that they removed the oil pressure sensor, made up a pressure tank with the correct fitting, and primed the oil system that way. I assume you...

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

interesting, I will need to wrap my head around engine rpm vs pump rpm vs pressure output of a pump to respond more intelligently. I originally viewed the purpose of the variable displacement pump was to help with fuel economy, as in can run lower pressures at lower load for instance...

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

Good point, as most of the videos I saw revelry were commercial vehicles. Wonder if it is related to the variable displacement oil pump?

    Godzilla 7.3 Swap

Been noticing that they are having some lifter issues, but Revan Evan and Brian Wolf? Have found some lifters that run in hemi, LS, and 7.3 that are good to go.

Sent just a little too hard

My quote was more to @Muchmore comment. Don’t brake into obstacles and if you go off the “road” keep the wheels straight. Not so much once you are hung up.
