I kinda thought this might indicate the opposite.. moving the Raptors premium engine into more common varieties could mean they'd need to do more to make the Raptor stand out..

Just bargain hard and be willing to walk away from any deal you don't see fit. Money talks in most cases, if they know youre serious, and the GM is worth his salt.. thet won't...
Just locked in $2500 off MSRP /w no dealer doc fees here on a Spec order 2019. I think it's a fair deal.. not to mention, they'll be getting first shot at making me a deal on my next purchase.. Some GM's/dealers are smart enough to play the long game.
Only varience between 2018 and 2019, according to him, was the color.
Just stating what I heard, I'll wait to worry about it until I can get into the dealership and look at his screens myself.

The only reason I'm tempted to believe it is, he volunteered the new color when reading down the option list. I didn't even have to ask. That being said, no other unique 2019 options were mentioned.. no new shocks, fog...
Just got off the phone with my local dealer (so take this for what a GM at a local dealerships info is worth).. but, he said his order bank was open and we could place my 2019 order at any time. Only change I could get him to confirm over the phone was Velocity Blue being 2019's color.

If there's any truth to this timeline, I'd assume there's at-least some updates to the 2019's. Seems pretty late in the year to start production of the G2's otherwise.
