yo comprendo on the vinyl...I was asking about removing the b-pillar piece from the truck...I believe the OP suggested he removed those pieces before wrapping them.

technically not correct. a 99 is still a live order and can be pulled (and built) be the Ford system...it just wouldn't be for a Raptor or other high-demand vehicle.

just the normal (unfortunate) bs about allocations, dealer delivery estimates....all that. I used to run the allocation system for Ford across the US...it's too bad it's not easier to understand for consumers.

the dealer's allocations typically has more to do with lead-time than option content. sometimes there are 'material holds' (shortages of a particular item like BL wheels)...but the timing of the dealer's allocations is the more typical reason for longer wait times.

I'll be interested to hear what you learn from the dealer.

I think you're right that it won't engage the brakes, but mine has done some dramatic engine braking.

"property" doesn't have to be in quotes...a truck is actually property. Some states don't have income taxes but all states have taxes. It turns out that it's really hard to build roads with taxes. Then again, if you have a Raptor, who needs roads?

I've consumed a lot of info about this truck...before and after buying it...but an instructor at the Raptor Assault I was at yesterday said something that I'd never heard...and, frankly, I'm finding it hard to believe. He said that the truck will change it's front / rear brake bias in Baja mode...

I don't like that about sport mode either. I also think that street racing is a joke.
