Unfortunately it took over 3 years for Ford to do something about it. I don't know if I will ever own another Ford again. My happiness in getting my dream truck left along time ago. Getting rid of my truck this month.
You know I am going back and forth on that one. Look at what the tuners can do with the current Raptor ecoboost engine. According to the TFL guys, its the 3rd generation of the HO 3.5 ecoboost. They also mention with the new suspension, it means more power to the ground on pavement and...
The 3 that I got out of the reveal
- Feb 18
- 4.1
- R
Anything else that I missed.
I think Feb 18th will be order guide or Specs and pricing
4.1 I believe is the 0-60.
R - of course the Raptor R released in 2022
2017 with 38k miles. Its been in around 6 times. Park to Drive harsh shift. 3rd to 5th hard shift. 5th to 3rd hard clunk occasionally. Friends Raptor doesn't have this issue. The have programmed/flashed, relearned, and changed the control module 2x. From reading the boards it sounds like...
I have a 2017 and since I bought it I would have issues with rough shifts out of P, 3rd to 5th and downshift 5th to 3rd. The control module had to be replaced 2x. Each time the control module was replaced the transmission was smooth as butter and then went back to being a pain in the a$$...
I thin it will be the 5.2 without the supercharger that makes it to the Raptor. They will not want the Shelby Raptor to lose its luster and also Ford will want to let the GT500 be the most powerful Ford for a little while.
It makes sense.. keeps the Raptor price point.. offer an upgraded...
You are talking about being co developed and comparing these to their 6 and 8 spd trannys. Am I missing something here? Instead of comparing the 10 spd to GM's 6spd ad 8 spd trannys, lets stay on topic.
I had issues with my transmission shifting hard out of Park to Drive also shifting from...
Are you guys still having this problem after the ECM reflash? I had my ECU flashed and the tables reset and still having the issue. I have had the control module replaced due to harsh shifts from Park to Drive and up/down shifts from 1-3-5 to 3-1.
When the car is warmed up... no issues...
There was a TSB on it? I had to take my truck in and luckily I talked to a younger service rep. The older guys that I talked to first told me that I would have to leave it a week.
Mine was doing that also. It was also rough when slowing down and the transmission would go into 3rd. Took it to the dealership and they flashed with new software and its drives like a dream!!!!! BTW 17 with 14k miles.
Car and Drive thinks it will have the 2.7
