You might have to take into consideration drive line durability with the GT500s power and RPM limits. A Youtuber blew his transfer case with 850HP Whipple Coyote RCSB, with what could have been a very bad result. He handled the situation well and made a great recovery with very little damage...
I haven't posted in this forum since I bought my Plain Jane work truck. I had a feeling there would be thread on this topic near the top of the list of threads. Not sayin it won't happen, but I would be surprised.
It's funny the price you mentioned, that was exactly what I offered the guy today for the SCAB, the odd thing was he thought I was a broker at first wanting to buy their truck.

Glad your ok! I was driving in the early morning to a customers in Michigan a few weeks ago. A couple deer ran across the road about 100 yards a head of me then just stopped along the side of the road, it wasn't that close, could have been if I was 10-20 seconds later. Freaked me out too.
I...
My experiences are very much like the OP's. I've never seen car dealers with such attitude.
It's even worse if you're looking for a SCAB, strictly an order out. It doesn't even seem like they care to do that for you unless it's MSRP+5K.
I found a SCAB 300 miles away and filled out the online...
There are threads in the F150 forum for owners that want to do this, from used parts bought from salvage yards.
A few companies sell plug and play kits but they are very expensive compared to going the salvage yard route.
Here's video that shows what is involved with one of the plug and play...
Curious what grade of fuel the OP is using?
If Ford uses simply the amount of gas that is flowed to the injectors then on lower grade fuels the amount used compared to the actual amount of power generated could be different than someone that uses a higher grade of fuels that generate more...
No details that I can see on the engine, whether is N/A or Boosted.
With the fender clearance shown in the pictures and long-travel coilover suspension the bump stops would have to be the body...OUCH!

Exactly...It's your truck do what you want. When you consider 802A adds almost 20% to the cost of the truck, that's a bunch of dough in my book. The $2K stickers are the biggest rip which is pretty hard to find a truck in stock without them.
I'm not sure I would want to take on what your doing...
haha...Is it just me or do those pictures look like CAD renderings or Photoshopped images?
Perhaps it's just the effects that were added to the photos? They seem like they should go well with 24" wheels.
Mike
Great thread, good to see a DIY project like the one you're taking on. There are guys like Livinitup and BoostedGrayGoose on the F150 forum that have done exactly what you're doing but not with a Raptor. I'm sure you've been reading those threads, they are pretty interesting when you look at the...
Here is a video demo a rivet gun that Ford has approved for panel replacement on the F-150. I doubt it will work in your application because probably cannot get to the backside with the gun.

I just got a call from a dealer that was all excited about a used 17 he just got in. Went to their site and pulled up the AutoCheck(CarFax) and it shows the truck has had multiple air bags deployed with structural damage.
I also told him when I originally talked to him I was only interested...
Looks about right to me, I don't think you can combine Ruby Red a $395 option with orange accented seats so you have a winner. If they pack all the dealer installed options inside the truck there would barely be enough room for the driver. Also not sure if you can option a soft tonneau cover and...
Back in the 1990s when worked for a Ford supplier, I went to the Wixom Assembly Plant in Michigan, which as since been demolished. Anyway, at the time they were building Lincoln Town Cars and Lincoln Continentals.
The Town Car was RWD and the Continental was FWD. They were mixed on the line...
Sorry, when I said you I didn't mean it as yourself. I meant it as anyone buying a car or truck from Texas, and I agree Carfax is not that actuate.
You can tell by the vehicle history from Carfax where the car spent some of it's life based on the city is was sold and serviced.
Mike
I realize that, you need to check the CarFax history and see where in Texas the truck is from, it's a HUGE state.
There's actually a used Avalanche SCAB with 22K on it in Houston, shows it has a clean CarFax, I still have no interest in it at any price. It's almost exactly what I was want...
I'm sure your's is alright and nothing personal but I wouldn't touch a used car with a title history from Texas unless it was built after Harvey. Perhaps it wouldn't bother other folks. When I bought my used BMW I would't even consider a car with east coast title history after Sandy.
If you're...
