The audio switching from Sirius to AM is pretty common. Mine use to do that about once a month and other people here have had the same issue. I cancelled Sirius so don't have that problem anymore. I never had an issue with receiver forgetting my iphone wifi connection. Never used the bread...
The running boards were a major eye sore to me so amp power steps were one of my first mods when I got the truck. That was about 5 years ago now and no problems.
Now that i'm seeing a lot of Gen 3s on the road, the biggest design flaw is the smoothing out of the flared fenders. The aggressive widebody look is what makes the Raptor stand out, I have no idea why Ford tried to subtle the look and make it more like a regular F-150. The grille has...
You would of had no problem registering a non-ca compliant Raptor in CA. Just like myself and probably thousands of other Californians who bought Raptors out of state. I would guess that Gen3 would be the same especially because it's the same engine but who knows at this point. All DMV looks...
That sounds pretty good. Makes me wonder why all these aftermarket exhaust companies that specialize in just exhausts weren't able to make the Gen2 sound this good.
If he used forscan he probably did other changes too. Do you have a seatbelt reminder chime? Do your mirrors stay closed in when open a passenger door? I can't remember the other popular forscan changes.
I do that in the summer to block the exterior temperature display. Electrical tape on top of painter's tape. You hardly notice it's there and you can remove it easily without leaving any adhesive behind.
If you really want to be sure before you go back to the smog shop, you can just buy a $30 obd2 scanner and just drive around with it plugged in. Once all tests show a pass you are good to go. Probably will happen way before 150 miles.
The scanner will be handy for future out of state...
It sounds deeper than the 3.5 V6 but it doesn't sound like a V8 to me. What do you think?
edit: After rewatching the video and as someone pointed out in another thread. The fact that there's a cut out in the front grille for the intercooler says it's a turbocharged motor so it's most...
I had the same issue multiple times with my 2018. I would go to make a right turn at a light, hit the gas and nothing, no rev, no power, traffic oncoming. It was like the truck was in 10th gear instead of 1st or 2nd. After a second or two I would have power but it wasn't like i was lighting...
Same exact thing happened to me. I was walking out to the garage one morning and was like what the hell is wrong with my garage door.
This is great information. I'll definitely contact my dealer and see what they say. Thanks!
What are the local dealers asking these days? I live in Rancho Mirage and back in '17 when I was shopping for a Raptor they wanted $20K over sticker and wouldn't budge. Ended up buying a truck out of Arkansas and had it shipped.
