Agreed. Sounds like the APIM module. Happened to my 2017 after 2.5 years, fixed under warranty and good ever since.- BigShep

I was also sent a backlight add on kit, which taps into the running lights. I ended up just wiring them to an aux switch directly, mostly for flexibility.- BigShep

Just installed the LP4s yesterday on the hood mounts (thanks to Adam @4x4TruckLEDs.com). Big light, but overall fits well to the truck.
