I heard (from my local dealer) that Ford is going to keep building 2023 models through year end and won't start building 2024s until January. Can anyone else confirm ?
Edit: Just spoke to another dealer. They told me 2024 model year will be produced from January 2024 - November 2024
About 30 years ago when I wanted to splurge. There is only so much Natty Ice I could drink, but was tough to beat a 30 pack for $10.
Now I prefer a nice red wine or scotch. Will leave the bud light to the trannys or for Kid Rock to use as target practice.
Hahahaha, you guys are brutal. I didn't realize I would stike a nerve. I love my 2018 Raptor. But I am also intrigued by new tech. I actually have orders for the following vehicles:
2023 Bronco Raptor with build date of 4/19/23
2023 F150 Lightning Lariat ER with an estimated delivery date...
My reservation just got called for an EV Lightning and I am inclined to trade my 2018 Raptor for it. Worst case I hate it and trade it back for a 2024 Raptor if I hate it. So wondering if anyone else has gone through the change? Thoughts? Regrets?
My original post is nearly 4 months old and since then I have scored a Bronco Raptor build spot for late February, I have gone to the sidelines. Economy is weakening so I am gonna sit back a wait for 2023 37 at MSRP. I am not in any rush. I missed the Section 179 anyway once the calendar rolled.
Yes, but to me honest, with less effort now. I have a 2018 Raptor with only 37k miles and about a month ago I scored a Bronco Raptor build slot for late February. So I am probably just gonna keep my F150 Raptor and buy the Bronco Raptor in early March whenever it arrives. If I can find a 2023...
Bumping as I am coming up on 8 weeks searching. What a saga. I have a couple dealers take my order at MSRP with no allocations (worthless). I had a dealer promise me a 2023 37 package at MSRP + $5k but its stuck in some of chip hold. So still looking. I will consider almost anything at this...
As others have pointed out, these are fictional numbers. Trust me when I say that I probably spent 20 hours of my own before posting this thread. If you want to buy a Ford Explorer, then car buying in cyberspace is easy... not with F150 Raptor or Bronco Raptor. If you think its easy, I am...
I have done about 10 hours of legwork already. Nearly every conversation is the same - its either:
1) We have nothing in stock, the one on our website is sold, and we don't have any orderable allocations
or
2) Our Raptor is available at $20-30k over MSRP
So, I am happy to pay for other...
Thanks MQZ.
2020FordRaptor, looking for -
Atlas Blue
801A package
Moonroof and Tailgate
17" Forged Alum Beadlock
Spray in Bed-liner
MSRP should be right around $82k
EDIT - might also consider Anti Matter Blue...
Hi all, longtime forum member and Raptor owner (have a 2018). There is so much great information on this forum - I have learned a lot, so thank you. I hope my post doesn't violate any forum rules, if so I apologize.
But I am somewhat disgusted with the state of affairs with these ridiculous...
1) Is there way to permanently disable the auto / stop start switch? I really hate the button having to hit the button every time I start up the truck.
2) When driving on highway at say 70mph... and assuming in some kind of gradual turn, and I hit a bump, the suspension gets a little...
Edie Ford in Bismarck, ND has 9 allocations for 2018 orders. I believe 3 are already taken. #4 is available @ MSRP with expected delivery Dec. 2017 / January 2018. I declined to take it because I got a #1 allocation at another dealer. If interested, contact Dana Schmoker at...
Thanks for feedback guys. The ford dealer that I ordered from isn't willing to drop ship it to my local dealer. The reasoning was something like "Ford Corporate" frowns on that, and this dealer is a smaller dealer with only a couple allocations, so they aren't willing to "risk it".
I got an e-mail from "[email protected]" with subject heading "Order Summary for Order T001".... Is that the same as a DORA ? It basically shows all the options I spec'd along with MSRP prices, etc. I was told I have the 1st of this dealers 2018 allocations...
So with the help of a fellow member, I ordered a 2018 Raptor today. Minor detail is that the dealer I ordered it from is about 1,250 miles away from me. So, I have a few months to figure out how to get the truck to my house.... Here are my options as I see them:
1) Fly out on 1-way ticket...
