At last!! I found the other end of the "pass through" wires inside the CAB on the 2017 Raptor - they don't leave a lot of slack but I was able to work with a 15A circuit and there is a nice grounding lug right there!!! You will have to remove the passenger kick panel to get at them...

Thanks everybody - I have updated my original post to reflect the CORRECT sets of wires. Wire bundle closets to passenger fender are the AUX Switches HOT. Going to go dig UNDER the passenger fusebox for the pass through bundle in the CAB..... Details to follow.

This might be an option to mount to the front skid plate - this would remove very easy with the two knobs for off-roading. I know the is for Jeep etc. (I have it on my JK) but may work for those that want/need the plate in the front. Check out this mount from Metalcloak. Just an idea.

Has anybody removed the factory plastic bed rail covers and measured the size of the stake pockets ? Looks like there are two total each side one stake pocket in the front and one in the rear - before I go tear into my new 2017 thought I'd ask and check. Thanks in adv.
