Ended up being a bad dimmer switch.

Need some help. '17 Raptor - the upper dimmer button does nothing to alter the brightness of the instrument panel. I pressed the lower (dimming) button and it dimmed the panel and displayed a status box showing the dimming bars moving to the left. Once dimmed all the way, nothing can be done...

I have the opposite problem. Headlights and display set to auto, but I cannot increase the brightness of the instruments. The dimmer function works to dim them, but the upper button to brighten them does nothing. I've tried disabling all auto functions, but with the same result. The instruments...

Got the same message. I started my search there originally, having purchased from them before but no budge off 10k over. Sales people were apologetic but powerless to help, so ordered elsewhere at sticker.

I have a '15 GC SRT and will be replacing it with a recently ordered Raptor next month. The GC is a very nice vehicle (particularly the SRT); it's fast, nimble and easy to park in places my last F-150 was a pain. The Raptor is much larger, not nearly as fast or nimble but does many things better...
