Sorry to pull this old thread back up, but I was having the same issues. 2017 with 27K on the original KO2s and 2/32 tread or less on all tires. Trying to get info from BFG for a warranty claim was coming up empty. They recommended going to Walmart when I called them. So I called Discount Tire...
I went with 70% crystalline on the moonroof and the windshield. It does help. On my 2013 I didn't have the moonroof and just did 70% crystalline on the windshield and was very happy.
With the crazy 110-120 temps we have been having in Phoenix, nothing really keeps the truck cool, but it does...
Well I have lived in Phoenix all my life, so I am used to the "Welcome to Hell" heat we get. I am just not happy with F-150 based A/C systems. I use auto start all the time to get the cooling process started.
In my 2013 Raptor I did the insulation on the lines and that didn't seem to help...
I have had my 2017 Raptor for almost 2 months and the A/C was performing optimally until recently. Here in Phoenix we are having a crazy heat wave with temps in the range of 110 to 120. My A/C on Max and recirculate is only getting down to about 54 degrees after 20 minutes of driving. Up until...
Actually yes I just did in January. I had a front shock leaking on my 13. Took it in and they inspected it, ordered the new shock, and replaced it no questions asked.
That 1 repair alone almost paid for the entire warranty.

I got my last Raptor warranty from them and will be getting another one for my 2017 from them. Way cheaper than what the dealership can offer. My dealership said the price was so good, that they couldn't match it and I should get it from Flood.
Also this is a...
Peoria Ford. Big dealer with a lot of allocations supposedly. Plus they are buying up all the Raptors they can from smaller dealers around the country.
I am having them run numbers for MSRP. Waiting to hear back. Trying to leverage the "repeat customer" card and the "last one I bought from you at invoice" card.
Hopefully hear something soon.
Guys I need some clarification here. My dealership has 40 allocations. They are also buying up all the other Raptors they can get from smaller dealerships. The one I am looking at just arrive from Montana. I am in the process of working a deal, but this came up in discussion with the GM.
He was...
Thanks for the info. That is exactly what I need to show to the dealer. Maybe they will get off their ass and stop with the with specs BS I keep getting. I have talked to a couple other Raptor owner lately and they all say the are happy with their a/c.
Maybe I can finally get them to fix mine..
hate to say this, but welcome to the shitty A/C club. I have been to the dealer 3 times and have also worked my way up the service chain to Ford Customer Service that just sent me back to the same dealer.
After my last visit, they must have wiggled something the right way because I am not...
Congrats on the new truck. I saw you pull in with it yesterday as we were heading out to dinner.
Now I am going to have to go get a new one. Can't have 2 white Raptors on the same side of the street.
I'll stop by and chat with you next time I see you outside.

Well I am still having issue with my A/C. I have been to 1 dealer twice and to a second dealer with still no solution.
The first service call they found the compressor to be bad and they replaced it. I figured that I would be back to normal after that. No joy. I cleaned everything and insulated...
Well I have an update on my A/C issue. I contacted Ford Customer Service and started a trouble ticket. They provided me a case number and sent the case to the service manager at Peoria Ford, my local dealership.
I just talked to the Service Manager there and he requested that I bring my truck...
Well I took my truck to the dealer and they said I had a bad compressor. So while they replaced that which took all day, they gave me a rental car. The car was a Focus.
One thing I immediately noticed is that it seems like the blower fan in the Raptor doesn't have a "high" speed like most other...
do you remember what type of weather stripping you used. I looks for some at the hardware store but didn't see anything that was big enough. This pic is with a piece of weather stripping installed.
I also noticed when I was dealing with this that the old Roll-X had a bolted on piece of...
Exact same thing happened to me last year. I called up Morrie and sent him some pictures. About 1 to 2 weeks later I received a new Roll-X. The new one had some fixes and upgrades that were nice.
The problem is that the new Roll-x never quite fit right at the front of the bed and there is a...
Having same issues with my A/C. I can get it down in the low 40's at night, but during the day it stays in the 50's. I have a thermometer in one of the vents all the time now. Even my wife commented that it just never really gets cold.
I also live in Phoenix and A/C is very important. My...
I requested my dealer change the computer to allow the DRL version for our trucks with Hids. I was expecting to get the same effect as just running the parking lights. They said no problem. I now have just the two outside parking lights / turn signals lit up. The 3 dot lights on the grill still...
No additional spacers. Just the ones that were already attached to the rails.
The 2 bolts on each side are as tight as I can get them. The washers were even bowed when I took them off.
Hi all,
This is a message for all that have the Roll-X cover. This is a problem that I did not have with my first Roll-X cover and it is dumbfounding me.
The cover is not sitting on the weather stripping on the front of the bed. Actually it is not even touching the weather stripping. I have...
Mjburns78, you are partially correct. I requested my dealer change the computer to allow the DRL version for our trucks with Hids. They said no problem. I now have just the two outside parking lights / turn signals lit up. The 3 dot lights on the grill still don't come on unless I do it manually...
Flood Ford is where I purchased mine from. Very easy online transaction. I did call just to verify that this was the price for a Raptor. I have 7000 miles on my 13 Raptor and I got the 7 year 100K mile ESP for $1275. This was the best price I could find online from any of the previous dealers...
