I have owned both.... a Raptor (2017) and a 22 TRX. Seriously, everything has its pros and cons but both are amazing trucks!!!! Too bad the V8 options are now ridiculously priced.
I had a 2017 Raptor until I traded it in on a 22 TRX. Both vehicles are great in their own ways!!! I would have one of each if I could. I have found that most people tend to be heavily biased towards one or the other when they never had a chance to fully evaluate both. They are both awesome...
I believe the Raptor R is limited right now. Maybe that will change. As I recall, When the TRX was introduced and the launch edition sold out in a few hours, the company said the TRX would not be a limited production vehicle. So comparing sales and availability between vehicles may not yield...
Yes. I have attached the part number. Replaced mine as well after my kid tore it off by accident. It’s super easy to replace. Just pull your rear cup holders straight out and you can then access the USB replacement. This part comes with the USB ports and door all in one.
For what it’s worth, I did something similar a few years ago when my truck was new. The truck went into limp mode. I pulled over and restarted. Everything was fine and this has not happened since.
I have had both trucks (Still have my 17). Why all the bashing on the Gen II. Kid, your reasoning is laughable at best. If or when a superior new V8 arrives, I’m sure all all prior generations will be in the same category.....not as good. Ha ha. Yes including the legendary 6.2. They will be...
My solution was to hang a tennis ball as I drive in. Once it hits the windshield I know I am in. I have a similar problem but easily solved it that way.
Both are nice.
I had a chance to drive both. I also liked both but something about the Gen 2’s menacing look and it felt so much quicker. Went with a new black super crew Gen 2. It’s all about choice. Both trucks are nice really. I have no regrets on my choice. Love the truck.
I contacted the dealer and they said this applies to unsold cars only. It pertains to extension of warranty for emission related parts. No recall for vehicles that are already sold. Hope this helps

Click on link above for the story. Wonder what the impact will be on the Raptor program.
