    California '14 - 50k miles --$38k

I posted this over a month ago and it said $38,000. I'm surprised it is still for sale! I read through the history on that site and it came over from Canada and hit an auto auction in AZ as a lease. Could have been beat up, but it looks clean.

    California '14 - 50k miles --$38k

I apologize ahead of time if I've violated any rules, but I thought I'd be friendly and spread the word on this 2014 SCREW with 50k miles AND LESS THAN $40k! Seems like a steal to me! Just looking for some good karma! Keep me posted if anyone from this forum buys it...

    Line-X The Fenders?

I was just told by an off road company that the rear fenders cannot be removed on the Gen-1s. I'm going to have to take a look at my truck later, as I don't know off hand. Has anyone with a Gen-1 done line-x on their fenders, and if so did they remove the rear fenders or spray it with them intact?

    Line-X The Fenders?

I thought about that color issue, but with my 12 Tux black, the fenders are already a dark gray color, so I figured it would look similar with the line-x.

    Line-X The Fenders?

I've looked into it, and am getting my fenders and rear wheel wells done when I do my bed. May do my front and rear bumper too.

    Line-X The Fenders?

Wow thanks for the info. Didn't know it was this popular. I was going to repaint my fenders, but maybe I'll just Line-x them when I do my truck bed. Seems cheaper than painting them too.

    GEN 1 6.2L Badge

The previous owner took them off my truck, but he gave me the badges when he sold me the truck. He said he just preferred the more slick look without them. It does look clean, so I never bothered putting them back on. It's good to still have them though.

    Line-X The Fenders?

This is the first I'm hearing about this. Do people actually line-x the fender flares, or is it just the wheel wells? If so, do you guys recommend it? How does it look? Thanks in advance for the input.

    Washed Wrong For Years?

Grew up hand washing my Dad's vehicles with him. Something about the nostalgia of those memories, and getting my little one to wash her bike with me are why I choose to hand wash. It's super quick and easy now that I have a house water filtration system. Zero water spots, even on a hot Summer...

    Pedal Commander???

After driving in sport -4 mode for a bit, I've finally come to enjoy city +2. Even at -4, Sport mode is a little too aggressive for me in town.

GEN 1 Recall 19S07: 2011-2013 powertrain control module

Probably not as "chancy" as not getting it fixed. It was a software update, not a part replacement.

GEN 1 Recall 19S07: 2011-2013 powertrain control module

"Ford released the following explanations for each vehicle: Ford F-150 Some 2011-13 Ford F-150 vehicles with 6-speed automatic transmissions may experience "an intermittent loss of the transmission output speed sensor signal to the powertrain control module, potentially resulting in a...

    Stock VS Modded

Good insight. Thanks. I've seen some very nice heavily modded trucks going for good prices on this forum, and in the back of my head I'm thinking they're losing money on the sale. On the other hand, there's something attractive to getting a virgin truck as well, and they're becoming more rare as...

    Pedal Commander???

Oh wow. Yeah better safe than sorry. I've always wondered if it's safe to install for the truck, but I've personally never been given/had a reason not to use it. I'm not sure I'd use it in 4x4 mode though, and haven't yet.

    Stock VS Modded

Simple question. If you were looking to buy a Gen1, where would stock vs modded be prioritized with mileage, accident history, # of previous owners, etc? Would you value a more stock truck to mod to your liking, or try to find something already modded how you like it?

    Pedal Commander???

Both true and false. When I first installed mine and experienced Sport+ mode for the first time, my wife complained of neck aches for the next two weeks! JK, but if you're not used to those Sport modes you'll look like a kid learning stick for the first time in their parent's car.

    Pedal Commander???

Agree. Once you have it mounted and installed you can simply turn it off if you don't want to use it. I love it because you can change your throttle response as often as you change moods during the day.

Used prices rising on Gen 1s?

I'm always keeping tabs on Gen 1s for sale in my area, and it's always comforting to see 100k+ mile trucks selling for $35k or more. I've got half that mileage!

Spray Bed Liner Best Way to Protect?

I was quoted about $550 (a year ago) for a spray bed liner (Line-X). Does anyone know if this is a reasonable price? Any recommendations on a liner or company to use would be great help. Keep in mind location below... Location: Orange County Calif. Thanks in advance.
