I'm looking into getting either the JLT or the UPR. I'd appreciate impressions of how those brands perform as well as opinions on how essential it is to install an oil separator.

"Use 93 octane if possible and just drive it u can't hurt it unless ur real stupid make sure to work boost up some to break in turbos or they can stick"

Thanks for the advice y'all! I had literally just started researching a day before my Raptor arrived (today!!!) and I appreciate the input and direction. Gonna take it to Xpel Austin and they gave me a quote of $4400 to wrap the whole thing (SCREW) in xpel ultimate.
so I've been doing a bunch of reading about how to protect the paint on my incoming raptor, and I think I'm going to go with the xpel ultimate.
However I saw it brought up, but never thoroughly discussed, about the potential for being in hot weather causing the expel to damage the paint...

I'm about to become a first-time truck/Raptor owner. A buddy of mine had a line on a Raptor that was about to be built and not yet claimed, so I jumped on it pretty quickly and was able to get it at MRSP.
My sales rep told me that the hard tonneau cover from Ford wasn't compatible...
