I have had two of these things. I should have known better since my first BakFlip leaked, but this new and improved MX4 leaks too. Wtf?!? What's the point of a tonneau cover if it's going to leak? POS BakFlip, I'm done with this junk. Do the Retrax leak? Is there any hope for a low profile...
I'm using this with my stealth bumper.

For now, my plan is to only use it when I'm traveling outside of DFW. Within the DFW metro, I'm going to press my luck.
I hear the pop at fillup. I'm guessing it has more to do with the stupid capless nozzle and venting caught air. Once the pressure is stabilized it stops popping. Is there a way to go back to a standard cap? Call me old school
Yes. It's at the middle setting, which is where the arrow is pointed. The front bumper w/lights weighs about 45-50lbs over oem. I don't think it's having much of an impact on the ride height. My truck only has 380miles on it, so the springs may settle some still.
Good idea, get the sunroof and add 150+ lbs to the worst possible location on the truck. Just make sure you protect the bald spot on your head. Wouldn't want to get burnt while cruising the strip.
Why replace the bumper that uses the oem skid plate? For looks?
I thought the point was to get a stronger skid plate, improve clearance, and improve your approach angle.
If you pull the spare first and begin airing it up while you prepare and use the jack, you will not experience much delay. But flipping the spare seems easy enough.
