Actually I should be more clear. I did measure from the center of the wheel up to the lip. What I meant to say is that my rear is also 1/4" higher than the front and that's without the drop shackle. I'm also confused that they both have the 1/4" extra height in the rear. I would expect the front...
I too would like to know the best arrangement. I was thinking a combination of cornering lights, fogs and spots. Just don't know how they should be placed and the best combination for off-roading.
With 7/8" holes They were big enough so I could wrap 5-6 turns of electrical tape on the end of the hose. Twist them through and then the electrical tape keeps the hose from pulling out of the hole :-)
I have the factory spray in bedliner. I drilled 7/8" holes through the bed plugs while they were installed. Just go slow. There is about a 1.5" clearance between the bed and the cab.
My dealer used to use fluid film but changed to the Valugard. I knew I wouldn't keep up with the yearly application. I'm really glad I got the Valugard with its lifetime warranty. There are some sound deadening properties also.
That's a great price. I was charged $798 up in Maine at my dealer. I'm glad I got it. Took them 5 hours to mask everything off and apply it. They honored the lower MSRP for me so I didn't mind opting for it.
I love the UTV's. My boss has a 4 seat RZR on tracks. That thing is amazing. I have to say I was surprised by the results. I thought for sure the RZR would beat the Raptor.
Looks great...I'm assuming there will be a housing around each light to blend them in? How do you think cornering lights will work in the end position?
The dealership put them on. They removed the shocks for the install. It was perfectly level once installed. Once I drove the truck 500 miles on rough roads, the front springs settled and now the back is 1/4'" higher than the front. Not really noticeable. I did tow a car trailer and the back did...
