Not trying to argue with you but my experience is different. While I currently track with a ceramic brake equipped vehicle, most of what I have experienced in the past is with iron rotors (better for track use as they are cheaper to replace and do not have a stopping disadvantage); and fade...
I realize I am a newb at this forum so I am prepared to get flamed but I will chime in with my 2 cents. I totally agree that since OEM brakes are capable of locking the brakes (activating ABS), then there is nothing that will improve stopping distance (same tires of course).
This is my first...
Just saw this. They don't seem to like it and it is difficulty to tell on a computer how good is any exhaust. Anyone aware of other companies working on an after market exhaust for the gen II? I think whoever makes a good product, will sell a ton.
A Big Fat Exhaust Isn't Enough To Make The...
Hmmm, I don't know. The SA showed it to me when I took delivery but never mentioned they added it. There was not an added expense either. But you are probably right, as I haven't read anything about it until I took delivery.
I googled it, here's the link if anyone is...
Tailgate HAS a lock. Look at the passenger side hinge. There should be a special key that the dealer gave you. Sideway pics again, turn your laptop 90 degrees clockwise.
Those look awesome. I would be very interested especially if the lettering and claw marks are colored, eg red. Is that possible?
Edit: Looks like those are for the Method wheels. Would they fit stock wheels?
Thanks! So what would you recommend if the main use is for reverse light? Looks like the flood may blind people and the wide cornering is a little narrow. Does the light have a swivel adjustment? Sorry for so many questions.
Nice! Whats the difference between Driving Combo and Flood? And is the Wide Cornering throw side to side only or all around in a circular fashion? (thinking of vehicles behind when in reverse). Thanks.
From a 911 Targa to a Raptor. First few days, felt the truck will roll over if I sneezed. Parking is the biggest learning curve. Once you learn the handling characteristics, that thing is sold and handles amazingly well for a vehicle its size. I love it...
I am using it. Just for the remote start. It takes 45-50 seconds to kick in but that is fine as long as I know. Love it as I park 1/4 mile away from my office and the remote is out of range so this does it. Nice to be able to unlock/lock too. I don't use the parking part of it as I don't need...
I know the holes are there, I'm trying to plug them after I remove the plate that the dealer riveted in place, not sure what to plug them with after removing the rivets. I guess I can use some metal epoxy but it may end up being messy.
I want to remove mine also. Don't want holes. Not sure what material to plug the holes with. Any ideas? Perhaps remove the current rivets and bracket then install new rivets with no bracket??
Good to hear. A tune with a little more hp/torque and a software update for the transmission together with a much better exhaust (low cell cats/downpipes and muffler bypasses perhaps) would make for a perfect Raptor.
They are the same as the 2015/16 . I know this because my steering wheel was tilted a little clockwise when in s straight line and it drove me crazy, felt like it was 1 or 2 splines off. I took it in and they put on the alignment rack and used the 2016 specs. I have the print out of what it...
Have it on mine (shadow black) and definitely love the contrast, plus you get orange stitching. It's a burnt orange type color, like UT/Longhorns color.
