I've had my instrument panel go dark along with no speedometer. In addition power mirrors didn't work. This was all after a bunch of warning flashes on dash. (Traction Control..etc) Dealer said water had gotten into one of the modules. They fixed 'leak' and replaces module. Now it's good...
Your first post was of a purchase of a 2011 Raptor. The remainder of your post is 95% Gen two. Why do you care about the spark plugs of a Gen2 Raptor? Did you upgrade to a Gen 2? If so, we'd like to see a picture of your change of heart! Oh and make sure to take the picture next to a...
Chalk this up to #MeToo. I hear this thunk when accelerating from 0 to around 30. All low speeds and going up a small incline. It is always at an intersection when I am turning right onto the next street going back from work, and only there. I have stopped looking back to see if I hit a...
The platinum door insert is wrong. Both sides should have Ford Performance. The door default code is inside your addendum documentation that you got with your vehicle. It should be with your booklets.
To all you model 18s with the metal oil pan/plug, the joke is on you!! Since that thing weighs 9.61 ounces more than our plastic pans/plugs your street racing creds just took a hit! That equates to a heavier truck and a 1/3 mile time five thousands of a second slower than plastic! Good luck...
Everything staying in the right place? Nothing loose now after bumps and driving? I saw your blog, tried to use the code 75bucks but it doesn't work. Looks like vendor doesnt have anything going over memorial day weekend.
Not too sure about this logic. No matter what it was created for, people still use it on the street. Are you advocating they buy two trucks for different uses? The Raptor can still tow and haul, so if normal mode electronics stiffens up the shock to allow more payload, isnt that a win? Not...
Rot in hell EricM! If its not feasible to retrofit the terrain mode electronic shocks, I am painting my shocks orange!
What's that saying about you can fool some of the people all of the time..
I have "true" 37s +12. They will not clear unless you go ~3" preload/lift in front. If you dont go that high, plan for a lot of trimming since you will be +7. I initially started to trim at 1.5" RPG, but decided i didnt want to trim anymore. That is when i went up another 1.5".
Be...
Waiting for someone to start that thread we are all thinking about: how to retrofit the 2019 shocks on the 2017 and 2018
The 2019 shocks might even constitute a new sub forum.
A little tidbit of information that I haven't seen yet in this thread. According to
https://www.f150forum.com/f118/questions-those-adjusted-their-tire-size-forscan-393651/index2/ post #20, the newer versions of Forscan can eliminate the wrench icon when you adjust your speedometer for larger...
Well thanks alot GSteve! Your buddy is probably posting all over the Cummins forum about how he took down a Raptor. With this new found confidence from them, i probably will be getting a whole lot more stare downs on the road!:ROFLJest:
I went with 2 different brands for the best bang for the buck. The tailgate is the BedRug tail gate mat. The bed is covered with the Access Bed Mat. I was worried that they would clash, but there is very little perceivable difference. The mat colors are the same, the thickness is the same...
There may be a misunderstanding. Even if you use all 6 of your upfitters for LEDs outside of the truck, you will still ha e 6 passthrough wires that are unused that feed back into the truck. The passthroughs are just to route upfitter power back into the truck. If they are not connected to...
Nice write up. I'd also suggest to anyone needing to wire to the fuse box that they consider using the aux pass through wires in the right bottom kick out panel. Those lead straight to the fuse box. So if you do not need all 6 aux wires to switch something on in to the cabin, you can...
My vote is for a bed rug. It provides just as much protection as spray in and yet is more delicate on equipment.
Plus there is a bucket list item that is much easier to accomplish in the "bed"of the truck if you have a bed rug:mexsmoke:
