Geez, I thought I was safe since I signed the order sheet with the agreed upon price. What can I do at this moment to make sure they don't screw me over when (if?) my truck finally gets delivered?

So the dealer says since I contacted Ford, they can't get updates the regular way. They said they requested an update and got one today saying awaiting shipment, but Ford service says no updates since they told me it was at the retrofitter. Which one is it?

How long was yours in the retrofit shop? Or was it even sent there?

Did that mean it was held at the retrofitters or waiting to go to the retrofitters?

So I called Ford Performance for the first time today and they gave me different information from Ford Service. Nothing new, just seems like they got updates, and fewer of them, at later dates. Has this been you guys experience?

yenrod I know how you feel. I've been through a ton with my 2012. As odd as it may sound, if I hadn't gotten the truck, my life would actually be pretty darn different now.

I think the TBD change might have something to do with the fire that happened at Fords world headquarters in Dearborn. It took out alot of computers and caused them to delay the release of their financial information (even though they had it backed up). The fire probably just threw things off...

What does "Waiting for ok to buy to be granted" mean? The dealer said the truck is built and the current status is "waiting for ok to buy to be granted". My order was accepted by Ford early August. Ordered a scab with 802a, bedliner, and the applique. no cf.
