I'm curious. What exactly sucks about it? I have five of them in different vehicles and they work perfectly. Best mounts I've ever owned. The only problem I've ever had is when I installed one incorrectly by placing it in the wrong seam. I had to re-read the directions to see my mistake...

Towing 5500 lbs. with the Raptor is will not be a problem. Use your weight distribution hitch and keep in mind the reduced payload capacity. Remove the 550 pound tongue weight and the weight of the distribution hitch from your 1200 pound payload capacity and that's what your left with for you...
